How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

First of all, the host is a wonderful, nice and kind person. She answered very promptly to everything we asked her. The apartment is very clean, well organized and furnished, with quality things and equipped with everything you need. I highly recommend this location!

We can't think of a thing that could have been better.
The apartment is even better than in the pictures. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. It also had everything we needed. Doris was a friendly and responsive host. We would recommend this place to others!

The ground parking we found was a few minutes away but we were able to load/unload the car next to the building.
Very nice and pleasant apartment. Great attention to detail. The friendly host waited for us (we were late to checkin) and gave us some extra time to checkout! She gave us instructions where to park although we had to find another parking area (Parkplatz, 4020 Linz, Austria) since we had a roofbox on the car. We have been pampered and tried different blends of coffee, and in the evening enjoyed the beer and wine.

Keep in mind you are in the center city, so if you sleep with the windows open you will hear traffic, conversations from the bar below, and the cathedral bells.
Great location, fun decor, and the world's best shower room. Also there is a well-stocked wine and spirit closet if you'd like to purchase something fancier.

The wifi was patchy and the water pressure was very low, but apart from that, I can't think of anything
We have stayed at 100s of apartments and hotels and found the host here to be in the top five! She was extremely hospitable, generous with complimentary food and drinks, responsive to messages and was sincerely interested in making sure we had a wonderful time in beautiful Linz. The apartment was well stocked with everything you could think of, and the host had clearly thought very carefully about what a traveller may need. We loved the location too—an easy walk to all the main sights, restaurants, shops, the river etc.

The apartment was incredible nice. The hosts were super kind and helpful with everything. I recommend it 100 times. Definetely I will be back to this apartment. The apartment is super well located near the new cathedral. The hosts left us some drinks and snacks. Super kind. Super clean. Well equiped.

i missed a bit of a cardboard inside the bedroom. bells of the cathedral were audible Sunday morning
A very well equipped and generously sized apartment just behind the Cathedral. walking distance to the Main Square 10 min, 20 min to the Station. I was greeted by the very kind and friendly owner Mr. Lobl who explained me all the amenities. a small kitchen, huge bathroom with modern shower. Cosy Sofa and armchairs made my stay comfortable. modern Smart TV and Alexa Service did bring my stay to perfection, complimentary first day drinks, fruit and sweets were offered.

It is not a problem for me. Building may be hard for handicaps because there is no elavator.
Everything is perfect. I can't find anything bad. Especially, Doris is very nice. When you need sth she comes in 1 minute. Decoration is nice. They add a bed for me. It was very comfortable Congratulations

We liked everything, a really lovely apartment with extremely friendly and helpful hosts. We would recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Linz.
The apartment was very comfortable, spacious and clean. A lovely place to spend time in after a long day of sightseeing. The variety and quality of the drinks cabinet was the best of anywhere we have stayed. Our hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, really first class.

The location of the hotel is just great. You can see everything in Linz on foot from these apartments. The owner is very polite and very hospitable person. Tell you what and where to see in the city. The apartments have everything you need and even more. Inside the room, everything is furnished "with soul". Everything is clean, quiet and comfortable. Excellent price / quality!

The stay was extraordinary, the host was a sweetheart. We have a one year old boy, the host prepared everything what's needed for a baby and even more! The host was so nice to us, he was really helpful from the beginning till the end, he did help with our luggage to carry them to the apartment! The breakfast was prepared for all of us, even if we didn't expect such a nice gesture. The apartment has black out jalousie, very efficient ventilators, comfy beds, beautiful bathroom with luxury toiletries. Lamps, music etc. can be used with Alexa, TV is in the bedroom, living room and even in the bathroom! :) There is also a full aranged bar for high end guests. When we go this way next time, we definitely stay here again and i recommend you to do it as well❤️
