It might have been a problem for some that reception closes at 4 otherwise it was fine.

    Beautiful building, plain clean room,

I think having some king of manual as to what is at the Guest House (such as the chapel, some background in to the church, its history etc) would be great. But it’s only because I was so impressed did I want to know more and see what else was available for its residents.

I loved staying here. Visiting Salzburg was very impromptu so I only booked for one night before moving on to Vienna. I wish I had stayed another night at the very least, and the Guest House was a big reason for this. It’s a stunning place. Huge rooms, a very nice fresh breakfast with, I believe, fresh and local ingredients. A nice chapel which overlooks the church. Very helpful staff with clear instructions as to what to do if you arrive out of hours. Thank you all.

Location was fantastic, right in the centre of town and a short walk from the train station (10-15 mins). Great transport/bus links from outside the door. Checking in with a code for the key dispenser out of hours was easy, as was checking out the following morning. Outside noise was often mentioned as an issue but I did not experience this despite staying on a Saturday and had a very peaceful nights sleep. The rooms were large, spacious and tastefully decorated to match the historic (and active) nature of the building as a Seminary

I liked that it was simple with no TV. It felt very relaxing and the breakfast was excellent. It’s no ordinary hotel which made it seem like Salzburg was even more special.

There is no one at the reception after 4 pm which is really early. I couldn’t leave my luggage with them while going out in the city because of that.

I loved everything: the staff, the location, the quietness and simplicity of the place. The room had a kettle and tea and a safe. The street view was nice, you could people-watch if you wanted. There was a pair of earplugs but it wasn't necessary as it was quiet. It also had a cross over the bed and a bible, which made it feel so much more special, it is a priest seminary after all. The building was clean and safe. The breakfast had yoghurts, cold meats/cheeses, local breads, boiled eggs, cucumber and tomatoes, juices, teas and coffees.

The rooms were slightly sparse and not a huge range of breakfasts but I’m clutching at straws really it was very good!

It’s a lovely location in a beautiful building. It’s clean and comfy and centrally located. The breakfast was good too. All the reviews state that it can be noisy due to its location and earplugs are provided but perhaps there aren’t many people partying outside in march because we didn’t hear a thing. The reception staff were also very helpful.

Reception is closed after 4 pm. Encountered some elderly guests having problems, but no one is available to help them. I got a reply from them only the next day that the reception staff do not reply to messages after 4 pm. as I was trying to text them. Imagine those elderly stranded in the cold and unable to check in. Was wondering why they provided ear plugs, and I realised later that the noise pollution from nearby pubs can be quite loud.

It was reburbished from a church, so I walked past a few times searching for the hotel. The building is beautiful and only 2 mins to Old Town. Breakfast is superb, and the environment is very clean. One or two bus stops away from the central train station.

Quite thin walls and door, so louder people could be heard, but the facility provided free earplugs, so I had no problem with that.

Rooms were super bright, clean, fresh. The facility is situated right in the city centre, so it was convenient to get everywhere on foot. Fresh, white bed sheets and towels, that is what I like. Nice historical interior, but renewed. Also super clean. You can regulate the heating of your room as you wish.
