Very nice place, clean and warm. You can self checkin and checkout. Coffee and tea is always there for you during whole day. Wonderful garden and nature in the middle of city.

Great location, right at the train station, everything was clean. Good price to performance ratio. Fyi: the pillow was horrible for sleeping, wayy too thin. Also if you arrive at night the walk up to the hotel is a little creepy and very dark.

The room is a bit weird, a long corridor in the middle between the balcony and entrance to the bed. But we didn't mind it.

Accommodation is in a very nice old villa with a huge garden/ park around it. An oasis of lush green and quietness. The location right next to the train station is fantastic and very central to everything.

Internet - if you need it - is kind of working only is some parts of the building. And I wonder where local Garfield disappeared after some days of permanent presence?

The environment is nice and cozy. The bus stand and railway is just within 3 minutes walking distance. And the view is excellent, you can see several mountains from there.There's also a pretty river.. And there was some nice friendly cats around the house who are friendliest. The staffs are nice and friendly as well.Good place for a cozy vacation within reasonably cheap price.

If you don’t drive a car but with big luggages, pls do think twice to book this hotel, there is a gravel slope which makes it hard to take your luggage up.

Unfortunately, no breakfast is available. There is a nice cafe in the train station and others near by.

This nice hotel is surrounded by a beautiful and interesting garden. It is near all the sights and very close to the train station. If you come by train and have heavy luggage you should stay here. Price wise this hotel is very good for Bad Ischl and the area .The hotel is clean. There are nice tables to sit and enjoy the garden. Coffee and tea are free all day long. The staff is very informative. Each day my room was cleaned perfectly.

Amazing location, literally across the street from the station, but there's no noise and it feels remote. Just a few minutes walk into restaurants, book shops and the river. I was able to check-in early, the room was very comfortable and clean, and there's a lovely area near the lobby to sit and enjoy the garden view.

The door to the bathroom is with a smoke glass, i.e., you can see what the person is doing inside.... which is OK for family and friends, but it would be better to have a door without anyting to see through.... Also the entrance was a bit confusing. The open gates say, "Auffahrt (Dirve way)" only on one of the gate poles, but the name of the property and this sign were not togehter. So we made a few rounds to find the actual way in.

The property is very conveninently located (2 min. walk from the train station) but still the surroundings are really like somewhere in the woods. It is also vis a vis for the thermal spa and walking distance to the center of the town. Very traditional nice Austrian (Rustikal) style, spacious, comfortable and cozy.

We are against animal hunting, and the place is full with skulls everywhere you look. I guess this is the culture but this is not a pleasant atmosphere for guests that dont want to see deer heads around.

Huge wonderful rooms with a balcony to the green mountains. We loved the elevator and parking centrally located in town. Free coffee/tea in the quiet patio with green surroundings. Self easy check in.

Early check-in allowed. Beatiful place, surrounded by trees, with a garden to chill out. Room with a balcony, great view: trees and mountains. Free coffee and tea, and a kitchen can be used downstairs. Location next to bus and train station is a plus, if you are interested in exploring the surrounding towns.

Sonnhof is exactly next to Bad Ischl Bahnhof. Elevator is in building so no worry about taking heavy luagges. Spacious room with balcony. Large LCD TV with wide range of TV channels. Daily cleaning service is provided.
