Shower temperature kept changing from cold to very hot.

All good; except no restaurant. And being a mile up an hill!

If you are walking it’s at the top of a steep hill. If you are driving your 7 gear BMW 18 series you won’t care! As a consequence it’s wonderfully quiet. Reception was unmanned, but, my key was obviously mine with a small sign. Up the stairs the room is, as described, a single. Small, but, big enough with, for the first time in a while, a single bed. Clean with a big ‘cover all’ duvet. Desk and chair. Wardrobe and hangers. Coat hooks. Small, but, clean and bright toilet and shower room. Shower has a Heath Robinson folding cubicle that’s half height. Convoluted, but, hey! The shower is like the machines out of War of the Worlds; rears up when you turn it on spraying everywhere. The water takes an age, but, is hot. One shower gel sachet and a small bar of Lux. Towels OK. Retro tiles (1990’s?). Nice balcony with, unsurprisingly ’cause it’s a single room, one chair, one table. Nice views of the mountains opposite. There is a guests lounge and seating outside and a hot round tub in the garden that the owner assured me you can use naked! ‘Honesty’ bar. Sauna at 7€ a pop. No evening food. Big Alsatian with a big stick to play with. The hosts were lovely and bought me some hot food up from the village. Thanks go to Elisabeth and her mum. Lovely garden with hanging chairs and hammocks and wonderful views of the mountains. I didn’t want to leave.

Maybe something we aren't used to, but the pillows were a little on the flatter side.

Great hosts, very nice breakfast and location had a great view of town. The candy basket was the icing on the cake.

The building is a bit older, so thin walls. There was some noise in the evening but of course nothing alarming.

Hotel Garni Wieshof is situated on the weinberg in the north of Kirchberg. It is a hefty walk from Kirchberg back to the hotel. But when you are healthy it doesn't matter. And when severe snow has fallen you need snow chains.

We had a great week in Hotel Garni Wieshof. Nice rooms, very good breakfast, good atmosphere, a nice private bar and Family Pöll deserves a great compliment for their attention to the guests. A fine place to be!

However, there are a few things that could be improved: - We had to specifically ask for the complementary guest card that entitles tourist-tax paying visitors to free public transport and discounts in the Kirchberg region. The card was not spontaneously provided to us upon checking in, so we needlessly paid for a train trip to Kitzbuehel on our first day (we relied on public transport to get around). - The breakfast room was full on our first morning, so we were asked to have our breakfast in the garden (or to wait for other guests to finish their breakfast). This was not a big problem for us at the time, but it may be problematic in case of bad/cold weather.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Hotel Garni Wieshof: - The breakfast was varied and tasty (although we had to come early to enjoy all of it, some of the items, such as the fresh jams and fruit salad, were not replenished well); - The hotel staff was very friendly; - The room was clean and comfortable.

Lovely breakfast, good range of food and drinks. Really helpful and friendly staff. Nice outside relaxing areas. Really peaceful and relaxing. Love the family dog that arrives to greet guests too!

the only improvement I would recommend is that the hot tub was not very warm, which was a bit of a bummer as I looked forward to this each day after the mountian. The sauna was quite nice though.

Our stay was wonderful, i was visiting my daughter in Prague, and we wanted to snowboard at Kitzbuhel. The hotel was great, breakfast really good every morning, the family goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable. Their daughter is even Miss Tirol, so it was fun hearing from the family about the area, etc. My German is terrible, but my daughter is fluent so she was able to communicate quite well. They have a kitchen stocked with drinks for you to enjoy and the other guests coming and going were quite nice as well. The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable.

Everything was as good as possible. The breakfast was complete and more then enough, the owners were always nice and helpfull, the room was cleaned every day and very comftable, there was enough parking space available every day. The highlight for our daughter was also the dog Arco, the 2 cats and the bunnies. Super Atmosphere! We gladly come back.
