Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe guest house was very lovely and exceptionally clean. The room was a generous size, with a balcony and modern bathroom. The bed was very comfortable too. Heidi and her lovely father were very friendly and caring and made us feel very welcome. And the breakfast was very tasty! Special thanks for having chia seeds and linseeds 🤗 Me and my daughter have enjoyed our stay very much!

PolandUnfortunately, due to the pandemic there wasn’t ski bus which could take us to the ski slopes, so without car it could be difficult to get there. With car 15-60 min to ski slopes 😊
Stay at Gästehaus Hechenblaikner was very pleasure. Landlady - Heidi with her Father were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean with charming details - images of reindeers on pillows, duvet and curtains. We had also a balcony with a nice view on the mountains. The guesthouse is situated in the quiet neighbourhood. There is a city nearby but shops apart from one bar are mostly closed during evening. However there are two restaurants near the apartment and a petrol station. To ski slopes there is about 15-60 min by car (depending on the ski slope, one hour is to the glacier). We recommend this guesthouse ❤️🤗. Danke!

United KingdomNothing really, may be except the colour of the towels in the toilet. The towels are very clean except that some customers like my partner could prefer white towels.
The property is jointly managed by Heidi and her father. Both of them were very pleasant. The breakfast was qualitative and enjoyable. The location of the property was superb, with excellent mountain view. We rented a car and had no difficulty navigating from and to the nearby town of Schwaz.
