First of all, the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful! The breakfast was excellent, and the room was clean. The location is also amazing; it is convenient to go hiking or take a bus to the sightseeing views.

We had a great stay, the hotel is in a beautiful location and our room had a view of the lake (You can walk/bike easily along to Sankt Wolfgang im Salzkammergut (there is a bike/walk road) and there is a really beautiful walk right in front of the hotel that leads to Strobl). The room itself was comfy and spacious (we had a separated bedroom and livingroom which was really convenient in the evenings with a small child). We had breakfasts and dinners at the hotel and the food was excellent. The staff were really super nice and friendly and gave helpful suggestions for activities and helped us book them. It was a very kid-friendly place even with a playcorner for kids in the restaurant. There is a large playground directly opposite the hotel which we really enjoyed.

Wolfgang and Caroline are the most helpful and friendly hosts I have ever met. The hosts organised bike hire and advised on the best routes for all our family members. The clean and cosy spa centre with sauna was very relaxing after we had been mountain biking all day. The variety and flavour of the breakfast dishes delighted us throughout our 9 days stay. We will definitely come back to you again!

It was the best vacation in a long time. The staff were incredibly friendly, real professionals. The hotel was very comfortable, cozy, very clean. We booked a regular family room but the owner upgraded it to a top suite -that was one of the highlights of our trip. We plan to come back, highly recommended !!

The breakfast was great, the restaurant has a great view on the green area. the hotel is 10 min drive from the town. the Room was large and light. the parking was available by the hotel. there are nice trails close to the hotel.

This hotel is fantastic. It is run by a gorgeous family who welcomed us friendly right upon our arrival. They helped us organize our daily programs and paid constant attention on how we felt ourselves. The room was extremely comfortable for a pair of us, it even had a small kitchen in the corner. It was absolutely clean and well equiped. The breakfast was simply beyond our expectations, fresh, tasty, there was a huge selection of goodies. There is a restaurant in the Hotel as well, offering not only Austrian but Thai (!) food too. It is good to eat a spicy curry when you had enough snitzel over the whole week. The balcony was nice but it looked to the road that was a bit noisy with open windows, but the crystal clear, cool air helped us have a good sleep. The beach is close, roughly 5 minute walk, you can rent bikes too at the hotel at a fair price. All in all, we could not have expected more care and a more pleasant stay.

The location of this family-run hotel was perfect to make small trips (hiking, boat trips, biking) around the beautiful Lake Wolfgangsee. The hosts were extremely helpful in giving program recommendations and paying personal attention to their guests. The breakfast was a great experience every day with fresh pastries, local specialties, fresh fruits, vegetables etc. In the evenings, their own Thai-Austrian fusion restaurant was a convenient choice to enjoy tasty dinners on site. It was a great advantage that guests could use the small beach of the nearby camp free of charge for swimming, sunbathing, renting SUP/small boat, etc.

Hotel is situated next to the road, we could hear the noise, but only during the day. There was a great silence during the night.

It seemed like the Booking.com description of the upgraded room that it would have a view of the lake. Technically it did, but only what I would call “partial view”. It was okay, just a tiny bit misleading. Other than that, all, including breakfast was great

The elevator had just had new buttons installed, but they were quite unresponsive (touchpad). To get utensils, you have to ask the staff for them to be provided.

We were travelling with a little one and they had given us a big room, which was perfect. The view out from our room was spectacular. For breakfest we had a specific table set for us already, which was a nice touch - this is most likely because the hotel is owned and ran by a family which just made it that much nicer.

Great breakfast. Great location to start/finish local walks without using the car. Lake was a short walk away but still ok by foot.

We loved staying here. We had the top suite for 4 travelers, and it was more than perfect. The owners are a delight. Breakfast was huge, full of variety, fresh, and yummy. Even though the road to St. Wolfgang is in front of the hotel, we never really noticed it.
