Schnitzel on day one 10/10 on day three was more of a 6/10, great chips, 9/10 mega Caesar salad, lovely beef horseradish thing. Breakfast ok, I think the reviews over sold the breakfast to us but we’re pretty conservative and searching for dairy free and simple stuff for our daughter.

Travelling advice without a car (with six year old): from the airport it was about €40 euro for a taxi on a meter (2024) (~20 mins) (did explore Uber etc but just getting one at 8pm outside airport was best option). Bus from this hotel is brilliant as it’s at the end of the 21 bus route, to Salzburg it’s every 30 mins, sometimes every 20. We got bus to and from hotel for three days and great experience, pretty easy to find where to get it from in Salzburg on google maps - quite a few stops in the city for it. Hotel good no problems.

Wonderful location, accessible hiking spots nearby (hiking sticks recommended), veryfrequent bus connection to Salzburg. Staff were really friendly. Really good coffee with breakfast.

Very neatly maintained, location is beautiful and had nice view of the mountains from our balcony. Breakfast was very sumptuous. There was bus stop next to hotel which goes city center every 20 mins.

Pitty, it doesnt have closer connection to highway. It takes good 15min (depends on the time of day) to reach highway

It was about 15-20 min to the Salzburg city center. Breakfast was superb We stopped on the way from skiing holiday for 1 night to visit the Christmas market in Salzburg

We had to wait 1,5 hours for our dinner. It was ridiculous. Nobody told it will be really long time. The food was good but after 1,5 hours we couldn't really enjoy it. During the breakfast the waiter wasn't really kind when we asked something because lot of think run out from the desks so we had to ask please refill them.

The hotel is absolutely clean and cosy, pretty quiet. The room was enough big, the beds were comfy.

There were few and poorly positioned sockets in the room where we could charge our phones, exhausted from a long day of taking pictures and recording videos. There was no ventilation in the bathroom or a least I didn't see it or was able to activate.

The hotel is not that far from Salzburg and it's located in a picturesque surrounding. You can reach the hotel by car tor bus. The bus station is literally in front of the hotel. There are a lot of parking lots, so there is no worry you won't get any. The hotel and the rooms offer you whatever you may need - at least we weren't missing anything crucial. The staff is super friendly and funny. The rooms are rustic, clean and quiet. We had breakfast too, which was abundant and absolutely delicious. I really appreciate when you can eat a real breakfast and not just do some tasting or (worse) fill your stomach with sweets or croissants. They also have an automatic machine that makes cappuccinos or caffe-latte on the fly which is very welcome if you like start the morning with some good coffee.
