No elevator. Weird little window from the room to the toilets caused some inconvenience.

Quite expensive for what it offers. The cleaning staff tried entering the room twice in the morning, the first time at 7 AM and without knocking.

The receptionist and breakfast staff were very helpful and friendly. Also, the breakfast had good quality. The room was clean, and the bathroom was quite spacious. The hotel is within walking distance from the town center.

Krems is not exactly a tourist destination

Good parking and close to the city centre. Helpful, Pleasant staff. The room had plenty of space and the bed was very comfortable.

Only one key to the one room. Complication if u are there with the friend with different program.

Excellent breakfast, however in the other building 200m far away. Bike lockers.

It would be great if the cleaners could come a little later. Both days they arrived to clean my room before I had even gone for breakfast. It seemed pretty early for me if you consider that some people on holiday might like the chance for a rest and a slightly later lie-in.

The Gasthof was in a great location, on the edge of the historic centre. The room was big and while dated had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The reception, breakfast and cleaning staff were all super friendly.

A bit hard to find. We stayed in the guesthouse but had to check in at the hotel down the street, but we were aware of this ahead of time so no real problem. No lift in guesthouse if you have heaps of luggage this may be a problem

On a canal, a couple of minutes walk from the old town. Excellent staff gave good advice re local restaurants. We were bicycle touring and they had a secure cage down the street to lock bikes in. Excellent breakfast included

Gasthof in my understanding means something like a basic restaurant on the promise. The "Gasthof" obviously was shut down quite a while a go

Unexpectedly there were 2 Tesla Wallboxes in the hotel carpark for charging up our car for free !

Gasthof Klingelhuber is currently closed so we were housed in the Hotel Klingelhuber which is owned by the same family and is across the street. Check in was efficient and the room was very nice with a comfortable bed and decent shower. We particularly liked the fact that the room was fitted with an aircon unit since it was 30° celsius on the day we cycled in. We slept well and the breakfast room was lovely, airy and cool, offering a choice of indoor or outdoor seating. The breakfast buffet was generous and offered a wide range of choices.

Communication from the hotel could have been better as they had changed the location to an adjacent building but we had not been informed and were unclear what to do when arriving at a locked building.

1. When I returned to the gasthof on the first night of my stay, I found that the gasthof was totally dark. I mean: the entrance, the stairs, the hallway - all dark - quite spooky. I only found out later that I was supposed to hit the light buttons as I proceeded from the entrance up the stairs and along the hallway to my room - the lights would automatically turned off a few minutes later. 2. My Europlug power adapter did not work with any power outlet in the room. I could plug my power adapter into the socket but it could not draw any power form it, meaning: I could not charge my phone and my iPad. This was the only hotel in my Austrian trip that I had a problem with my power adapter. It seemed that the power sockets here only worked with a Type F plug. FYI: Type F and Europlug both have 2 round pins but Type F's pin has a larger diameter

The gasthof location was in a walking distance from the train station and the old town. The breakfast here was exceptional with several types of warm items, cold cuts, cheeses. The room was pleasant but nothing spacial. The shower area was larger the norm. FYI: The check-in and check-out were done at hotel Klinglhuber which is 50 meters away from the gasthof. Breakfast was also served at the hotel.

All good.

Nice 700 year old hotel. Very accomodating to cyclists and nice size room. Breakfast was fantastic. They had a nice attrium for later evening drinks. Felt very welcomed
