Had to ask a couple of times for a hair dryer and extra pillow but was good value for money. Is a little out of town but fine if you’re up for the walk.

The room was spacious and clean, bed was soft and staff were friendly. Food available downstairs in the restaurant was also good.

Switching off the heating at minus 5 degrees at non isolated building is not very cool for guests . Bed, pillow were not comfy at all, the cheapest material, The bathroom door was broken.

The hostel is "tradicional", so there's not lift, a negative point for those with a big luggage. During the night, I don't know why the heater was shutdown by itself, causing a drop in the temperature. It get recovered in the morning.

The easiness to check in, the staff is helpful and the room is clean. There are parking slots for clients, which are just in front of the hostel. It's a small town, so there's not problem to reach the centre in 5-8 minutes.

Nothing really to complain about

A very cool traditional Austrian hotel/restaurant. The staff were very helpful and let us leave our bags at the hotel very early in the morning. Big spacious room and comfortable.

It seems like they’re in the process of updating the hotel but early on. I think it has a lot of potential and hope they’re successful. Overall it seemed clean except for the bathroom which continued to have a smell of old urine despite cleaning. From discussion with the staff it sounded like there was an issue with the pipes in the building and worse while we were there due to rain.

Large rooms and lower cost than closer hotels in Salzburg. Beds were comfortable. The restaurant below was also excellent and definitely the best part of the stay here.

There was some black mould in the shower/bathroom which was quite small. Lack of A/C (which admittedly wasn't promised) made the room extremely hot throughout the night.

The area was very nice. All staff were very polite and helpful. It was easy to get into town.

The room was not clean, it was dusty everywhere, the bathroom was awful, there were stains everywhere and accumulated dirt in the shower cabin, I guess it hasn't been cleaned for a long time. no shampoo or shower gel, the color of the towels had changed from white to gray. I think it was the dirtiest room I've ever stayed in.

The cleaning could be better. Was visible some dust. Some cables through the floor, On the toilet was visible mold, the supplies looked very old and even broken. Pictures look better than reality

Our room was on 2 floor and there is no lift if u have any heavy luggage ur are at bad spot. Building is really old and does not have proper ventilation. Our second room (singe bed) did not even have a door to bathroom and wifi was really bad . Would not recommend.

the shower was a bit too tiny, it was slightly clogged and it's tend a bit all over the place. of course nothing can be done for the dimensions, but the shower can be unclogged and the tend replaced with a rigid door.

it was generally nice, the camera was good, clean and the bed comfortable. the place is nice and not too far from the center. the staff was nice to me

Good location, only about 30 min walk to to the center. Quick checkin, easy checkout, very nice staff. The room was spacious and clean. The Gasthof has a very good restaurant. Good value for money.
