Nice clean quiet good staff, good beer

The hotel is located at the outskirts of a beautiful village in the Alps. We could hear the calming sound of the stream in our room. Nice trails nearby for a short walk with dog. Good breakfast. Friendly staff willing to give advice on how to spend time in the area.

We booked our stay including diner. That was a mistake. 🫣 For diner don’t go here. Small chioce of menu and the food wasn’t that good. Better to go out to a nice local restaurant.

Rooms were nice clean and looked new. Exception was the old fashioned bathroom.

A bit difficult to find in the dark.

Personnel always was very friendly, even when we forgot a laptop charger and they sent it home without asking any fee or making a smart comment.

the owner was not friendly on arrival, does not speak English and communication is therefore difficult if you do not speak good German. he asked for an upgrade (bigger room) for 15 euros, afterwards ( i told hem that we already paid for the big Family room) this turned out to be a small balcony (with an ashtray on your neck) while we had already paid for the family room. very weird. breakfast was good and staff in the restaurant try their best. location with the mountains is beautiful, especially in winter.

Amazing location - very lovely views. The breakfast was really lovely as well. We had a 1 bedroom apartment that was very spacious and clean. This place is a real gem - so glad we found it.

The man at reception was unprofessional and impolite. Ruined a mood and otherwise fairly ok hotel experience. Doesnt speak much english so difficult to solve the issues. Asked more money from us than we think he should have. We could not really debate about it due to his lack (or willingness) to speak english.

The hotel room was nice, the bed was very good and comfy. Rooms are clean. Hotel is at good location when travelling. Austrian mountain view is also fantastic. Good surprise was also horses next to hotel in the morning.

Very nice dinner, great sauna and wellness area and overall a convenient location for the ski bus to Obertauern.

The staff is extremely inaccessible, we as guests were the first to greet EVERY TIME. After being accommodated in probably the worst room in the hotel the first night, with a bathroom you can only see in the caravans or camping vans, we insisted on a relocation that they reluctantly agreed to. Being aware of the high season in Austria during our stay, this was one of the worst value for the money ever! And I NEVER regret giving even more money when deserved!

Given the proximity of the ski resort that made us stay in Tweng, the location is great. Breakfast of average offer, plentiful in quantity. The room where the food is served is extremely cramped, which creates a big crowd and the guests literally push each other. The best thing about our stay was the fact the room was very clean.

Hotel manager was simply rude. We felt harassed. Manager lied to us that sauna was not available to us. After some time we had a call stating that the sauna is available and hung up. We needed to come down to the reception in order to have an information about the sauna. During the breakfast we were asked to pay extra for two sandwiches we made to take with us. And we saw a cockroach in the bathroom. Sauna complex was full of people but only part of saunas was working. Overall impression of the hotel was messy.

The attitude of the senior host was unacceptable. When we arrived, there was really cold in the room and the heating did not function. We (and other quests) complained to that, and his reaction was "tomorrow, the weather will be better". So we froze whole night and some other days, till the weather improved. In the morning, he and the other stuff did not even bother to respond to our "Good morning". The room was also not really clean, we found rests of dog food on floor. There were even other problems, but to sum it up, it was our worst experience using Booking ever!

The owner trying to upgrade rooms at extra cost when they were empty. How.could I know that the upgraded family room wasn't what I paid for already ?
