Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

This was our 5th visit to Das Sieben. As we only live a 2 hour drive away we tend to come for long weekends when we are feeling burned out and ready for some rest and relaxation. We love everything about the hotel, especially the food and we always book half board. We both had a hydro jet massage which was very relaxing and I had the best pedicure yet with the lovely Sonja. It was my birthday whilst we were there and the restaurant decorated our table accordingly and gave us complimentary champagne. This was a nice touch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you to all the staff at Das Sieben.

GermanyThe dinner food was sometimes good but sometimes quite poor - it seemed to be a bit hit or miss. The jacuzzi is very small and there wasn't a lot of space in the sauna relaxation area for all the people that wanted to use them. The full body massages that we had were unfortunately not great.
Room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The facilities (saunas, pool, gym) were all well-maintained and very enjoyable. Food options for breakfast were great. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Overall we had a very relaxing stay,

RomaniaEverything was great at the hotel. If you're coming for skiing maybe this is not the best location as it is a little further away from the slopes and you will need a car, but you can't get this level of amenities inside the towns closer to the lifts, so the trade off is worth it.
Great hotel, very clean, large modern rooms, exceptional breakfast and very nice amenities (heated pool, saunas). Would come back and definitely recommend!

GermanyFor the price of the night I expected it to look more refined. Rooms have nothing special unless you book it with a view. Also, the design and deco of the place is very basic.

DenmarkThe spa area could be more interesting in the sauna zone. Given that they have a lot of space to build there, we would love to have a warm pool with a hydromassage in the FKK zone too, and that would add a lot of value. Also could be a bigger lawn for naked sunbathing, now it's too small. The outside pool in the general area should be just a bit warmer, especially given that there is hydromassage in it. When there is no sun, you get cold there quite soon. The indoor warm swimming pool was one day not very clean. We would love if this hotel would have also walk-class e-bikes for rent. The ones they have are very sportive kind ones, and they are very uncomfortable to use if you are not fit. Other than that, we encountered one receptionist that were relatively not very helpful and pleasant, but the most of the reception folks were just perfect, so it's minor.
The hotel is located in a very beautiful place, among the forests and mountains. The river and a lake where you can swim is also in walking distance. Our room was very comfortable, we loved it. The spa facilities are nice and on the level. I especially liked that the swimming area works up to the 10pm, so you can have evening swimming. The massage they offer in the spa area is very good. The food both on breakfast and dinner is very nice, big variety and good quality. Their chefs' skills are very high too. As a vegetarian I also loved that the vegetarian options are always present in every part of the dinner menu. It's very convenient that the corona tests are done in the hotel too. The receptionist lady we had on the day of our arrival and after was very nice and tried to do everything to make our stay good. She was just outstanding. Most of other reception staff are good too.

United Arab Emiratesdespite the substantial cost of nearly 100 euros, the quality of the dinner did not meet expectations. Specifically, the final dessert served was disappointing given the price paid.

Czech RepublicWe stayed in the hotel 4 years ago. Unfortunately, after KOVID a lot has changed in the hotel (also according to the confirmation of the staff I spoke with). Unfortunately everything for the worse. The worst thing about the accommodation is the food in the hotel restaurant. For dinner (unless you are a vegetarian) there are only two dishes. One of which is always fish. Dinner does have 4 courses, but again, it's all just a big absurd theater. The food is always well decorated but everything is more of a parody. Example of dinner during our stay. Soup: broth with 20 noodles in a quantity of 1dcl. Starter: 4 slices of tomato about 2mm thick and some foam of unknown origin. Main course: 2 slices of beef 3mm thick, size 6x8cm + 2 potato pancakes, diameter 5cm. Sweet spot at the end - about 1dcl of yoghurt sprinkled with cane sugar (the menu says créme brulee = total travesty!!) Even though we had paid for our dinners, we ate elsewhere. Everywhere in the other restaurants around here the cooking is perfect (I especially recommend the Tennen Wirt restaurant in Söll). For breakfast, the offer is very limited. The service staff making food from eggs on demand was as dirty as a garbage man. The hotel is still occupied by workers who have been trained here. There are still hundreds of people down in the lobby. Quiet during the day = zero. The total offer (towels, pool slippers, cosmetics, etc.) is limited and only available on request. A big difference from previous years. Tourists mostly Germans probably on discount vouchers. There's not much more to add.....
The hotel has a very good wellness area. The rooms are spacious. The hotel is in a quiet location.
