Host was so accommodating and congenial- we enjoyed our conversations and his research to answer our questions. He had a parting gesture that was an extra positive touch with a complimentary coffe/tea service. The rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated. Fireplace in communal living room added a cosy ambiance on a damp day. So many likes about this stay- they thought of everything.

The owners are amazing. Wonderful people whose conversations we greatly enjoyed. The breakfasts they prepared were incredible! The location was perfect to so many cool villages and ruins. It was great to just hang out in the awesome rooms too.

Beautiful house, amazingly decorated, so comfortable and pretty, with all the things you would need (even emergency pads and tampons in the bathroom 👍👏). Bedroom is very large and bed is super comfy! The hosts are extremely welcoming and kind, giving you so many tips for activities and meals around the place! Breakfast is very copious and tasty, everything is fresh! Location is amazing too. Loved it, definitely recommend it and would absolutely go again!

The whole house totally exceeded our expectations and Gabriele & Georg were amazing hosts that made our stay even more enjoyable. Each of the rooms were delightfully furnished with so much care taken for every little bit of detail. Each morning we had a fantastic breakfast looking over the Danube river and the Burg ruin Aggstein. We can't recommend this stay highly enough and we will definitely be back again soon!

There are limited eating facilities close by so you really need your own transport to find a nice restaurant.

This is an amazing place to stay and Gabriella and George are super hosts. The house has been superbly renovated to a very high standard and it feels very homely the moment you walk through the door. Gabriella and George make you feel really welcome and I would have no hesitation in stating here again.
