Saunas were minimized due to energy conservation, which is understandable, and for my dates the main Therme in town was closed. But as a result, I did not get very much spa time. Rather then alternating saunas day by day, I would have appreciated if the staff could turn them on and off upon request. The lower temperature sauna was hardly warm enough for me to break a sweat after 20 min of sitting inside.

Delicious, healthy breakfast in a bright room. Kind and accommodating staff who were always friendly. Great location! Lovely rooms and common spaces. Solid restaurant.

Lady at the reception was not very friendly. Hydromassage was not working. But those are minor things, nothing what could spoil the emotions from the hotel.

Amazing views, great design. Place is like from the fairytale. Cozy rooms, hotel is in the very picturesque place, and relaxation in spa with the Mountain View is amazing.

Beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the Traun River. Very clean and comfortable. Spa facilities were great. We were there during a quiet time and had the entire pool to ourselves, it felt very luxurious. Location was perfect. Walking distance from the train station and within minutes of restaurants and shops. Breakfast buffet was very generous.

Everything was perfect, I liked my room, pool and sauna, breakfast was really great and various. The only thing which I missed was the socket near the bed, the only way to charge the phone was near the table or TV, which was a bit inconvenient. But I think that's not a big deal comparing to all other goods. I enjoyed my being here and I will definitely stay here again if I will be in Salzkammergut))

Overall, everything was great, except the bed mattress was much too soft. The shower and toilet (wash basin in a separate room) had only a frosted glass sliding door which did not offer much privacy.

Beautiful, central location on the river in an historical building. Breakfast buffet in the conservatory was plentiful and delicious. The restaurant with outdoor seating at the river was very good. Staff was friendly and efficient. The recently renovated room was nicely furnished with a terrace and a lovely view to the river. Pet friendly.

The beds were quite small (but we have had a child with us, so for a two adults it is probably fine).

The service was super quality and the staff was friendly. The dinner was reasonably good and the wellness service (swimming pool and sauna) worked well. Breakfast was really great and the bar has great bartender and drinks.

staff was not nice at check in and didn’t explain anything about the hotel I’ve found nails of previous guests in the bathroom the restaurant was a total disaster, waited more than 1 hour and no food. had to leave and eat at mcdonalds because it was already late to go to another restaurant

It’s definitely overpriced for what’s offered. we stayed in 7 other places in Austria this same period and experienced so much more value for money in all the other places (Badgastein, Kitzbuhl, Schladming etc) as well as a nicer atmosphere and service mindedness.

It was seated in a good location, beautifully by the river Traun and close to city centre.

We went for dinner in the hotel’s restaurant. When we arrived we were alone in the dining room. We were seated by an older male waiter to whom we spoke English. After us, another family arrived and 15 minutes later another one. Both of the tables were served before us. By the time when the table next to us already had their drinks the waiter came to them to order meals and we still had nothing. Luckily, the woman from the other table told the waiter that before taking their meal order he should at least come to us for drink order. Another guest had to tell him!! Subsequently, he turned to us and said that he sees us.. That leads me to the only possible conclusion that he was ignoring us on purpose (as we were not German speaking). That’s unacceptable in any situation but in 4 star hotel it’s even more striking. After this we decided not to stay another night as originally intended.
