The location simply cannot be beat - right at the intersection of the Getreidegasse and Judengasse. The room was modern, clean and nicely appointed. The check-in/out went smoothly. We really liked our stay.

The location was perfect. We had 4 adults and we were very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were able to check in early and store our bags after check out so we could enjoy Salzburg more.

Not a bad thing but you will have to park a vehicle in a lot and walk with your bags a short distance since the hotel is in a foot traffic only area of the city. Part of traveling in Europe.

Only negative thing are the pillows which really have no substance. They are way too soft almost as if there is nothing inside the pillows. On the second, we received 2 additional soft pillows because they don’t have any firm pillows

There is no aircon and even in late September, the room was warm. While the town gets pretty quiet in general at night, there are still enough noises to make opening the windows to cool the room problematic for light sleepers. We were also instructed to empty the trash on departure or be charged for not doing so, which is a first for me.

Location is great and staff were very helpful. The room was spacious.

As the room was facing the streets, there was a bit of noise in the evening, but after 10 it became really quiet so we could enjoy a good nights' sleep.

The hotel is centrally located, within short walking distance from the bus station, in case one needs to use public transport. The room was beautifully decorated, clean and very well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. There are many restaurants and coffee places nearby so one can take its pick at where to have breakfast/ lunch/ dinner. Really appreciated the availability of the staff to check us in prior to the official check in time, as the room was already available.

The pillow is far too soft. I woke up with a sore neck after the first night. But they provided extra pillows that helped.

It was a bit confusing to find the hotel when we arrived, but nothing more.

The location is perfect, near to the main places, the room and the bed are big, it has everything you need. It is decorated in an elegant way. It should be noted that they offer you products in the fridge and also some snacks.

We loved the location - right in the centre. Staff were extremely helpful and the rooms were right size, clean and tastefully decorated.

Since it‘s right in the heart of the city, there was no way to park near the hotel. It was a hassle to find a parking lot and only when we arrived at the reception we got an explanation about parking (you‘ll need a code to get near the hotel for 1 hour).

It was clean, spacious, everything we needed was there; our expectations were exceeded.

Was a bit stuffy without A/C, but can’t be too picky, as it was in the middle of a heat wave. Staff brought up really nice fan on request.

Only two drawbacks to the property. First, the front desk is only staffed during the day. I messaged booking.com for needs outside that time but the hotel only responds during work hours it seems. For example, I arranged with the front desk for a taxi our day of departure but since it was at 7:15am, no one was there to assist when the taxi did not come. (We just went to the square and found a taxi and got to the train station on time.) The second drawback is beyond the hotel’s control. The restaurant’s tables are right outside the windows and, since there is no air conditioning, to cool down the room at night we had to leave the windows open. The noise and smoke fill the room until around midnight. With the double windows shut there is no noise or smoke though—they provide great sound proofing if you don’t mind the stuffiness in the room.

The room was beautiful, clean, and has everything we needed for our 3 night stay including a tea kettle and pot, small refrigerator, dishes. The location is excellent—we were within 10 minutes walking distance from everywhere we wanted to go. Right outside the hotel is one of the only close restaurants that stays open past 7pm (until 10pm I think). I traveled with my daughter and we felt entirely safe the entire stay.
