I love Resi because she is a very kind and hospitable host. Eventhough, I told her we won‘t need a balcony because it‘s cold anyway, she still upgraded us to a suite with a very large balcony. In the end, me and my friend enjoyed a very nice and relaxing afternoon in the large balcony.😊 Thank you again Resi! It‘s 5min walk to the center, the place is very quiet and relaxing. The room where we stayed has everything that we need. The view over the balcony is breathtaking.

Beautiful and quiet location with uninterrupted views over the valley, modern Austrian style and very spacious. Comfortable beds. Great local schnapps for sale. Exceptionally nice hostess.

Stunning view! Perfect location! Easy parking! Immaculate room! All the conveniences you want; big bathroom, dishwasher, kitchen with the items you need to cook in the room. Easy walk to restaurants. Walking distance to grocery store and bus stops. Wonderful host who was very helpful with her knowledge of where to go and what to do.

Resi was delightfully friendly and helpful. The whole house was immaculate, and beautifully equipped. Four of us stayed for 3 nights (2 adults and 2 children), the space was great with a lovely large and sunny balcony. Great views of the valley, and a lovely walk to the village. Highly recommend.

Was pretty much perfect. Pillows/bed could have been slightly more comfy.

Really spacious place, amazing balcony with mountain view, lots of equipment in the kitchen, lovely warm shower, great location for an easy bud to a ski slope. Lots of personal touches and thoughtful little gifts (such as for news years celebration). We were made to feel very welcome.

Haus Kristall is by far the best accommodation in Alpbach. I have visited Alpbach many times with my father and family and this year I wanted a nice getaway with my son. The house is immaculately clean, and it is a big bonus to have to take off your shoes in the stairwell, so you don’t carry all the dirt thru the house. We rented a room which was super clean. Previously we had stayed in an apartment which was also top clean as always. All of our charges were dealt with perfectly. We did know that sometimes booking.com has an error, but we also know these owners always take care in getting things done the right way. The house has plenty of spacious parking outside. As everywhere else in the Alps most roads are on an incline This makes no difference to vehicles nor to alignment which one guest here pointed out wrong. Also there are plenty of nearby places to eat such as Postalm, Hotel zur Post, Messner's and so on which is only a short walk to downtown Alpbach (if you drive it takes only 2 minutes). In the summer there are tons of things to do in Alpbach and surroundings. Perfect for a family vacation and also especially for kids. There is nothing we did not like. The house is perfect. Resi and her husband are such wonderful people always asking if we needed anything. They are always available and the friendliest people we have ever met. I highly recommend this vacation rental both in the summer as well as winter months, where it looks especially pretty with all the pure white snow. The one complaint review from Shikra we saw on booking.com must be from people who have nothing better to do than to complain because, we cannot agree to any of those comments. Book your room or apartment at Haus Kristall, you won’t regret it! We will be back for sure!

I could not think of anything we would have wanted to be different or better.

The location of the house was perfect in the valley, and town of Alpbach in near location with the lifts to the mountain. We arrivede one day later than expected, that was no problem at all for the owners - i celebrated my birthday during our stay, and even though i didn't share that information, there was birthday-cake in front of our apartment door, when we came home from a day out. excellent. Resi the host, was extrmely helpfull, and if we had any questions we just asked and alway had a good and helpfull answer. We can really recommend "Haus Kristall" and we hope to return some other time.

The staff was too intrusive. For example, I did not like the staff giving instruction to my kids not to break something. The staff was mixing the charges to be paid by two separate case so I was asked to pay charges which were meant for other guests and the whole thing escalated for a very long time and one day of my trip just ruined to clarify this thing between booking.com and the owner of the apartment. We did not like the owner giving us instruction to remove our shoes 2 floors below and there were no house shoes. The apartment owner was nice and well behaved but was lacking professional approach with guests. Also the car park was on tilted ground so get ready for wheel alignment once you stay there😔 Was quite a hike to reach there although from photos of apartment you don't get the idea how high you are going. There were hidden and closed rooms and doors which were not well explained by owner. No nearby place to eat.. but what do you expect in high mountain.. Holy bible in cabinet.. as if all guests follow Christianity... I wonder where is inclusion..
