Staying at Haus Pinter was a wonderful experience. warm welcome and hospitality from the owner, the accommodation is situated in a quiet area surrounded by nature, very cozy wooden room with a terrific view, unique decor and natural products, tasty breakfast.. We would highly recommend staying here!

I didn’t ask why, but once the shower wouldn’t come out warm. It didn’t bother us, but I’m sure the in-house host would have been able to solve it quickly

Some sounds from the neighbourn room could be heard through the wall.

It was just a short stop for a night on the way to the Dolomits. The owners are very lovely and helpful. I loved the old rustical style of the house and the room. The breakfast was excellent! We liked the quiet, peaceful surroundings... too bad the weather was not so clear, I wish, we could have enjoyed the great mountain view from the balcony more.

A perfect quiet gasthaus with a wonderful host who helped us create a perfect week of hiking. Perfect balcony looking out over the valley. Lovely breakfast room. The cleanest gasthaus we’ve seen. The host was constantly cleaning - the floors, the lamps, the breakfast room. We looked forward to every morning. HP set us up for a perfect week. it was just what we were looking for.

No complaint

Cleanliness, cosy ambient felt like home, good location, beautiful surrounding area and scenery, rich breakfast, tastefull food in general (we had dinner). Helpful hosts. Place to store our bikes as we had rainy vacation. All in all would recommend it for any season and any type of vacation, hiking or resting on the balcony. I do not ski so do have that experience.

A small fridge in the room would be nice to have, especially for the warm summer months. It is fair to say the host offered us to use the breakfast room fridge at leisure. Add nothing more, to preserve the old time charm and a much deserved positive rating.

Haus Pinter is a lodging in the Assling area, a quietly located village nestling on the slopes along the Pustertal High Route. Our room had wooden panel walls, wooden panel flooring, furnishings of bygone days, it's like staying somewhere Heidi would live nowadays, 15 minutes drive from modern life, yet immersed in the beautiful Austrian forests. We spent a starry late night enjoying coffee on the wooden balcony hearing nothing but a distant roaring river and an occasional bird call. It was magical enjoying the simple pleasures of life in a quite spot. The hosts were very helpful, fluent in Italian and German. It is also quite close to a walking trail. A recommended get-away-from-it-all!
