For someone trip without a car, you need to walk nearly half an hour from the train station to the location. So better to arrive there before sunset since Google Map was not working super well there. The room was not very well insulated. Besides, the instructions for check-in and check-out were not quite clear and structured for me. The key could worked for both the front door and room door, which made me feel unsafe as a solo traveler because it may be possible for someone else living here can open your door.

The surrounding scene was beautiful and quiet, I took a lot of photos there. And they provide a large shared kitchen and teas and coffee for customers.

The walking disance to the location is bit far. With luggage its difficult and in bad weather. The staff was not friendly.

The location is very quite and the room was small but comfortable. Room and Bath were clean. Parking is available but I travelled with train.

The location is not ideal - it's a 10 minute walk to the nearest bus to go to Hallstatt. The Wi-Fi is pretty bad. The worst part is the check-in - there is nobody there to greet you, and they don't give any indication of what you need to do (you need to call them when you get there and they will give you a keycode, but that was never made clear to me beforehand).

The property is pretty good value for the money - the rooms are big enough for one and they are very clean. The common areas are nice.

The accommodation is new and basically nice. The impression is spoiled by the missing details ... hangers, drying racks, missing table and chairs in the room, missing large trash can. The rooms are small, but you can put up with that. The heating worked very well, it was always warm, sometimes too much. It was not possible to control the temperature in the room. It would also be beneficial to pay more attention to the cleanliness of the bedding (some hair, and small stains from something). Perhaps a small fridge in the room would also be beneficial. For us, the lack of possibility to store bicycles also spoils the impression. I would say that the ratio of the price of accommodation and the current equipment is a bit exaggerated.

Beautiful surroundings and landscape. Cycle paths. The coffee machine with the possibility of making free coffee and free tea was excellent. A well-equipped kitchen.

If you travel without your own transportation, it would be a problem especially when it's dark. No restaurant around.

The place is in the middle of the mountains. Very nice. Wifi works good. You can reach the cable car with 20 mins walking, the same for the lake

2.5km walk to the lake and boat landing to Hallstatt. The towels looked overused or not washed hot enough.

The building and the rooms are new but they are not very well furbished. There is just bed and one wardrobe, no desk or chair to sit on. No decorations anywhere, thin walls, doesn't feel much like at home.

We navigated to the place with the Google navigation app. The app brought us to the building next door. Unfortunately there was no sign directing us to the place. At the end we found the place, but no one was to greet us, we waited about 10 minutes until the landlady arrived

The location of the guest house was stunning. The beds were comfortable. The size of the room was adequate. The place was very clean.

Everything was good and ok. Only commute from Hallstat to the hotel in Obertraun was a challenge. I had to ask property owner to send a taxi to pick me up in the night as outside uber were restricted to go beyond Hallstat.

The property was well maintained with all the necessary facilities. Location was beautiful in Obertraun, scenery was amazing in the mountains. Everything was kept ready before and the host instructed me on call to get in and about my room.

commute to property requires around 1.8km of walking as no Bus goes upto that point. there is no one to attend, so dont expect a hotel experience.

There's no labelling at all of the place. There's just the address number 298 on the house. One booking.com direction takes you to the info centre which is ages away and the other to a neighbouring house.

Price is good, way cheaper than Hallsatt. It's a 25 minute walk from the train station or bus stop (which is 30 metres from the train station, next to the church). Bear that in mind if you have no car. Room fine but pretty stuffy as there's not much ventilation. Probably good in winter for the warmth. Hospitable host, good bed and shower and there's a kitchen if needed. There's a supermarket in town but a number of it's shelves are empty.

The lady didn't even know I was coming. She just took a screenshot of my booking. The room was tiny, smaller than hostels I've stayed in. The bathroom smelt of sewerage, and the kitchen facilities were shared. There was a large family there of around 9+ people that took over the kitchen. So I felt unable to cook my own food comfortably. I wouldn't stay here again for the price I paid, it was not worth it.
