I didn't have a bad experience with the luggage storage (I arrived long before check-in time), but the hotel signs emphasize that the hotel is not responsible for lost items, so future guests might want to rent the storage lockers at the train station for 2 euros (which buys enough space for at least two carry-on items).

I can't overemphasize how impressed I was with being able to walk out of city's main train station, cross a single boulevard (albeit a wide, busy one), and be within sight of this hotel, on the correct street and about a block or two away. The hotel has an Old World charm, providing a proper introduction to this city of historic buildings and associations with historic personages. From the hotel, walking north just twenty minutes (less time by tram or subway) brings a guest to the great historic area of Vienna: Karlskirche, Hofburg castle, Burggarten, Inner Stadt, top museums, Mozart's house.

The room we stayed in had a strange smell like moisture and couldn't get away even after the windows stayed open the whole day. There was a renovation in part of the hotel so we were waking up at 7:30 by the noise.

The staff was kind and provided everything we needed so for that price it was kind of worth it.

We asked for an electric fan since the room was warm due to the heater still turned on and they said they didn’t have any fans. Also, the 3rd bed in a triple room was not a comfortable bed as it wasn’t even a “real” bed. It was more like a wooden bed frame and they added a very thin mattress on top.

2 morning after breakfast we have to stand at the door of our room because it was impossible to open the door. It was really annoying and uncomfortable.

The furniture in the room would need some update, the carpet was not so well vacuumed. But the ned and the mattress were very comfortable

No blankets at all, just two duvets each the size of single bed proportions. Air-condition made on purpose to not work at all. Thank God those days the weather was splendid and sunny, otherwise I would freeze in my room I guess.

The plenty and constant hot boiling water day and night and the decent tidiness of the room.

There were no slippers usually found in hotel rooms :( Also there was hair on the sheet, pillow in everywhere. It was disgusting!

The room was warm. Bathroom was clean. It’s so close to train station and Belvedere Place. The public transportation is easy as well.

In our room the ventilation (not climatization) next to the window was super noisy, so we had to turn it off. Also, the welcome water was charged 4 euro.

The location is great - right next to hauptbahnhof. I really appreciated that we could store our luggage at the luggage deposite till the evening. Nice staff! Concerning our room, really nice bathroom and the mattress was perfect - a little hard.

Superior room on 6th floor was next to two lifts which were in operation all night and made clanking noises the whole time. Couldn’t change room as hotel fully booked. Bathroom was small for such a room and the bath itself was tiny.

Central location near main station with good connections to all parts of Vienna. Breakfast was more than adequate with good selection of food. Superior room was spacious with usual facilities.

We chose this for location, for 1 night. With a critical eye - it lacked character. And was a loooong way out of town for a tourist. It was undergoing a refurb - it had scaffolding on the front. Our bathroom looked like it had been refitted recently. Modern equipment etc. But the 'new' layout had glitches. Fine for a 1 night business stay. But not ideal for a tourist.

Very close to the station - which we arrived by, and then went to the airport from. Centre of Vienna is 30-40 minutes walk away - or tram/bus. Easy access to the lift to our 6th floor room. Well appointed room - recently refurbished probably. Reasonable value for money - especially if travelling on business.

Execelant location to get to all the sights and to the center. Staff was very helpful. Hotel very comfortable for a week stay...I can only recommend staying here.

The hotel boasts an impressive range of facilities and impeccable accommodations. The comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep, and the well-appointed bathroom was a delightful bonus. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, featuring a wide selection of both local and international delicacies, leaving us spoilt for choice each morning. Situated in a prime location, everything was easily accessible from the hotel.

There is some construction work happening at the moment, so I would suggest to request a room away from the front of the hotel and stairwells

Great budget option for Vienna. A little way from the city centre but very convenient with the main train station, metro and tram stops all within walking distance. Friendly staff, comfortable bed and newly renovated bathroom
