How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The beds weren't very comfortable. The room was a little hospital like but great for what we paid.
Buffet breakfast was great, room was spacious. Staff were nice and overall the stay was great.

1) I wasn't ready to almost completely transparent shower cabin inside the room. We haven't any privacy in all time of staying ( I stayed with two children, boy and girl) 2) Door in toilet haven't any handle neither locking mechanism - once again any privacy 3) In the room of three person's there was only one little stool ( despite enough space for three) 4) sink and low-situated tap for hand washing in the middle of the room. 5) I understand that it's " budget" hotel, but electrical cattle will be very nice addition
1) central location of hotel, close to public transport 2) clean and spacy room,everyday cleaning 3) didn't hear any noise, not outside, neither neighbors 4) comfortable mattresses and bedding ( and towels) 5) sufficient breakfast 6) helping and polite stuff

Room wasn't very nice. No any storage for clothes or other staff. No hair dryer. No extra pillows available (even from reception)

Each bed only had one pillow. We asked for one more but was not possible. The shower was either scalding hot or stone cold. We didn’t allow our child to shower, it would have been too dangerous.
Very reasonably priced and accessible on foot.

Room was small and the very big dissapointment was the bathroom which was in middle of room . Guests had no comfort to change their clotes after shower .. There is only one dustbeen and we had to move the dustbin to toilet. there were no chairs to sit

Initially upon my arrival on the 9th of april 2024 I initally approach Ibis Hotel Red colour beside Ibis Budget Wien Blue. The receptionist of Ibis Hotel Red is too RUDE. Im just asking if same hotel that I booked for, however he responded "that there too many Ibis in Vienna and I do not have any more checkin left on my system". The receptionist of Ibis Wien Messe Red in Prater is not very helpful at all and rude in responding to customers.
The location is just few minutes away to Stephenplatz. The reception Ibis Budget Blue is quite good.

The LVT flooring makes the room look like a hospital room. No mini fridge. There is a construction work right next to the hotel (room window in our case) and Monday to Friday works start at 6:30 am ( the end of our sleep).
Location. Near the metro; also from Praterstern station you can take the QBB directly to the airport (best price for this route). Cleaned every day. For sleep and a shower, little time inside the room, is good value for the money.

On arrival our room had dirty towels on the floor and dirty bedding as it had not been prepared. The Reception staff immediately found us a room that was ready for use , explaining that the cleaners had told them the original room was prepared. Raises questions about the quality of the cleaning

It wasn’t a problem for us, but near the hotel there is construction work, and workers start their work very early. So in near future it could be an issue for some clients.
Great stuff, friendly, helpful. Breakfast was simple, but delicious. Maybe the bed was not the most comfortable, but well - I didn’t expect much. The room was very clean. For short staying this hotel is perfect. Metro is near, it’s very easy to get where You need.

It was hot in the room and if you open the window, you can hear a lot of noise (even the view was to the yard, there was a very strong echo). Also you need to remember that the shower cabin doesn't have the wall between it and the room.
