How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Hotel is on very good location. Everything was perfect, clean rooms, good breakfast, most friendly hotel staff. Ibis Styles hotels are usually my first choice when travelling, and so far it was always the right choice

Excellent facilities and location. We traveled with a baby and even though it is a specifically baby friendly place the staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect.

We had a two-night stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly polite and accommodating, making us feel right at home, giving directions and recommending places to visit. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options to choose from. Our kids loved the toy space in the lobby, keeping them entertained while we checked in. Although the hotel garage was full, the recommended public garage just 300m away was convenient and hassle-free. Conveniently close to metro and tram stations, reaching the city center in just 15 minutes!

As I mention before the parking was small. It had a car charger but a conventional car was parked there so we couldn't use it. If we had known we wouldn't have paid for the parking and we could have parked around the hotel. There were a lot of parking spots available.
The room was great!! A really nice family room with two big spaces. Big beds and a balcony was a plus. Clean with nice finishing. The breakfast was awesome. A lot o variety and quantity. The parking was small but safe. It had a car charger but a conventional car was parked there so we couldn't use it. The personal was great! very pleasant and helpful

Breakfast was fine, varied enough, including options for people with dietary needs (gluten free bread, lactose free milk), room was clean, across the street from one u-bahn station, and within walking distance from another one in a different line. Personnel was friendly and open to helping with our needs (early breakfast on the day of departure). View was decent enough.

A really nice place,clean and comfortable facilities, very kind and helpful staff, rich and delicious breakfast. The location is also very convenient, situated next to the metro and bus station. I really enjoyed our stay in this art hotel and I highly recommend it!!!

No complains. For the price everything was exceptional.
Exceptional service! Special thanks to Gaila, who was so very kind and gave us complex information about the Hotel and Location travels. Breakfast was marvelous with lots of choices of food: Cereals, Eggs, bacon, Croissants, etc Furthermore, the Hotel is situated just around the corner from the Train Station with very easy access to inner Vienna City.

Nothing, all good!
We were welcomed very warmly and friendly, and it was from the first minute clear that our stay is going to be awesome. Everyone was very helpful; when we got confused with the safe lock, we got support in no time. When we discovered that the remote control was missing for the second TV, we got a replacement. Super nice! Also the location is great, it is a lively area and the connections are very good as well. We were travelling by train and were very comfortable. And of course I must mention the cleanliness and the nice breakfast!

The lady at the reception desk was kind of unfocused. Actually, this is expected, considering she was alone there with many guests requesting services simultaneously. The location is good only if you need to stay in that part of Vienna.
IBIS breakfast is good, as usual. The room is comfortable, bright, clean and spacious enough.

The staff were super friendly, the rooms were clean, good shower, and quiet at night. Very close to public transport to get into the central city, and close to some food places/shops. Good value for money.

The hotel was lovely and clean. Right next to all transport links! The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely. The breakfast seating area is quite small for the amount of guests but they had no problem for us to take the food back to our room, which was great! The bar was affordable and a nice touch. Really recommend this hotel!
