    Bell rings starting at 5:30am.

Location was amazing, right next to the river, very close to Capuchin trail and close to the main Christmas market. However, there are bell chimes starting at 5:30am, so maybe not the best location if you are a light sleeper. Clear instructions on how to get my key as I checked in after reception closed.

The sign in the elevator says breakfast offers in the First floor. Not only us expect there will be breakfast in the morning, other guests in the hostel were trying to get breakfast in the hostel. I think there could have a note telling people when will have no breakfast beside the original sign.

Nice location and the kitchen and bathrooms are well designed. It is a hostel that is really suitable for backpackers. You can check in and out all on your own and have good connection with the host.

You need to ask in advance about the way the parking, e.g. coming/going by car to the place works, since you always need a new code, also ask about breakfast and possibility of having a coffee or a fridge. We were not told about these options, without asking ourselves.

Everything was amazing, except for some missing info from the receptionist, except for that, we were very happy with our stay at St. Sebastian, really recommend it and will come back again for sure ☺️

I was in an 8-bed room. The shower was in the room but one has to leave the room to use the toilet. Not a big deal though because it's right there.

The place was very clean and the location is excellent. The staff is friendly and always ready to help.

I didn't feel comfortable that it is a Student Accommodation building with no staff around at night and Students in and out, I didn't think it was a safe environment to rent out spare student rooms to the general public. I know I wouldn't send my daughter to such Accommodation. Also no shampoo/body wash? It was very basic, just beds, toilet paper, towels, X2 glasses. And expensive for what it is.

The only thing I liked about Institut St.Sebastian is the location, as it's right in the center of the Old town.

There were bedbugs in my room. I moved to a second room which had more bedbugs. Receptionist/manager denied there being bedbugs even though I had photos of them. She first refused to refund my final night as I wanted to change hotels. After insisting I would not stay another night, she was very rude to me but did eventually refund the final night.

The central location. The rooms at first appear clean.

It’s set up like a hostel/hotel crossover just as an fyi. Definitely not the fanciest place to stay in town but you get what you pay for.

Very uncomfortable bedding, it the worst thing was there was no fan/air con provided, and the room was boiling! But because the room looked out onto a busy street, it was noisy all night, so we didn’t want to open the window. Both of us hardly slept; my partner can normally sleep anywhere but even he couldn’t sleep here. We know it was central and Salzburg is expensive, but we’ve paid less to stay 3 nights in all the other cities we are staying whilst travelling. St Sebastian has been the most expensive and we only stayed here two nights!

The location was fantastic, check in was easy, the building itself was beautiful.

On New Year's Day I stayed out of the accommodation because the employee put the wrong key in the box, if it wasn't for a student who is staying there helping me, I would have slept on the street in that cold, because they no longer had employees working on the 31st of December afternoon. I found a lot of lack of attention and responsibility.
