Breakfast and dinner menus were really well planned and food was delicious. The personnel in the restaurant was very kind and professional.The wellness area was cosy with panorama saunas.and relaxing area. The room was spacious, the location of the hotel was great just by the slope.

Second time in this hotel, still great quality, and the inclusion of unlimited cable car rides is greatly appreciated, especially by a 5-year old (don't underestimate this, it would cost a fortune otherwise). Food quality is good, though the variety could be improved a little bit. Rooms are great, modern, stylish, separate toilet is appreciated.

Everything was perfect!

We just woke up from the dreamy vacation at Almhotel. I can promise you that this is the best choice you'll make. The location is amazing- just 5 min from Italy and 1 hour from Slovenia. You get the +card holiday which gives you so many attractions for free. A chairlifht is located just 2 min from the hotel. The views are breathtaking and there are so many lakes with crystal clear water. The service was just perfect- there is a great team at the reception and at the dining room. A huge thanks to Stephan who helped us every day to plan the trips. His knowledge was priceless and he was so friendly and nice. At the dining room we got a special dishes for the kids and for us. They made an effort so we could enjoy our meals. We are a family with 2 toddlers and we couldnt find better place for them. A lot of cows outside, a big playground, an indoor play room and so much more. We'll definitely come back! Thank you for everying❤️

The dinner concept was OK except the drinks. Bassiclay the hotel is charging for tap water 2€, for Orange Juice(which was 95 water and 5% something like orange) 4.5€ (bigger glass). And they should offer a bit more options for the dinner.

Breakfast was varied and sufficient. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The room was very nice, big enough and modern furnished. The room was very clean. A Parkingplace is in front of the hotel. There is a room for the skis and boots. The entrance to the runs is directly at the hotel, so you can start with skiing after only some metres.

Dinner was not buffet style (maybe due to covid-19) which means less choice, lacking vegetarian options. But othewise food was very good.

The restaurant staff is not super friendly, we also asked to have breakfast earlier (7 instead of 7:30) because of the long hike ahead and we were standing before a closed door, even if they agreed to open a bit earlier the evening before. Other than that nothing comes to mind, really. Wouldn't pay the full price is february for this room, but the pricing was superb for a much needed stop during our Karnicher Högeweg hike.

Big and clean room with big and clean bathroom. Nice little balcony with beautiful view. The buffet was very extensive, and they have a nice terrace for dining. We loved the welness part with sauna, hammam, showers and chill area; Perfect after a long day of hiking! The location is awesome. Stayed here in september so prices were pretty low.

A fridge in the room would be nice. The hotel is full of families and kids, which was fine for us but it can be a bit crowded and noisy during meal times, so not really suitable for romantic getaways.

Beautiful surroundings, great with kids - kids can enjoy the playground and the several different chairlifts that are included in the room rate. Breakfast and dinner is good quality, though more of the "generic" kind suitable for families - expect things like burgers, fish&chips, goulash etc. instead of lobster thermidor. The room was nice and modern, with a separate toilet and bathroom. Staff was helpful.
