location for a solo traveller without a car was not good. too far outside the city - even the bus didn’t go that close and there’s is nothing really around to eat drink. this is really for people who are driving though I think.

Booking.com advertised this accommodation as non-smoking throughout. However, this was contradicted by the positioning of an ash tray/receptacle below our room ( with smokers causing us to keep the windows closed) and on the veranda next to where guests eat breakfast. Provision for smokers should be off the premises or positioned so that the smoke does not affect the enjoyment of non-smoking guests. The room could have been more thoroughly cleaned: three different types of hair were found in the bathroom of our two bed room. Etiquette at the hostel needs to be communicated more clearly and enforced: guests left their breakfast trays at the tables instead of returning them to the dedicated bay in what is advertised on booking.com as a self-service restaurant. Guests returned to the hostel without a key and knocked loudly on a rear glass expecting the door to be opened for them (waking us from our sleep).

Our room in this student residence was spacious with a usefully large desk and plenty of storage. Shelves above the desk and beds were handy (with the latter being a little hazardous). The breakfast buffet offered a variety of choice including hot food, and the meal could be eaten in the bright, attractive cafeteria or on the veranda in open air. There was a water dispenser outside the cafeteria for filling water bottles that were too tall to be filled under the sinks in the rooms. Disinfectant was provided at various locations.

Location was awesome, just by the Salzach river, views of mountains from the room itself. A great park right across the river. Vending machines in the complex. Great spread for breakfast

I really missed little fridge in the room. Common kitchen on the floor didn’t look good, I rather didn’t used it. Also common fridge looked really bad.

could be a bit closer to the centre of Salzburg. we took our bikes so it wasn’t inconvenient, but it might be for someone walking

There was no AC in our room. It was a hot July day, and the room temperature was very high. Also, a bit of dust was under the bed. You can hear everything happening outside the room, so earplugs would be an excellent option to take with you.

Good location, there was a bus station only 5-minutes walk away. Also, a grocery store was the same distance. The breakfast was fine, with all essentials like fruits, eggs, bacon, cereals, and sandwiches. The room was okay with a bathroom and comfy beds. We were also allowed to leave our car on a hotel parking spot for a longer time after checking out, which was really great!

No AC in the room, and the smell of the gardens fertiliser is so strong and is constantly in our room.

Third bad was poor quality and it was almost no space in the room with third bad. Room is quite similar to student house: 2 beds, two tables. However, with 3rd bad it was too small. Maybe 2 stage bed will be better than 3rd bed in the room. Too short time for breakfast and too early check out [at 10 AM] - so a a lot of people in breakfast area - little bit overcrowded.

Personal was amazing. Lady at the reception helped with all our questions. Breakfast was good. Room was clean. For one night stay - good choice.
