Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ItalyDinners looks to be overpriced for the quality you get. But it’s always up to you to have dinner in the hotel or outside.
Nice family hotel, pretty simple but comfortable. Not the level of real 3-4 star hotel but quite a typical Tirol style

United KingdomThe ski room didn’t have enough racks for skis if the hotel was full. Other hotel guests left the sauna & steam room doors agar/open so the heat from both the sauna & steam rooms was lost and would take too long to build up the heat again. I think there was a sign about this so it must be a frequent issue.
The food quality is the best aspect of this hotel. The breakfast is more than the usual boiled egg kind with more cooked options as well as the usual breads, cheeses, various fruits and yoghurts. The bedroom is very spacious with a large king sized bed and plenty of wardrobe space. There was fast free WiFI and a 42 inch Samsung TV with only 3 or 4 English speaking channels. The double balcony with views of the small waterfall and fast flowing stream from it was nice as well as the mountainous views of the surroundings. The swimming pool was a 5 stroke special oval shaped pool that’s acceptable for a hotel. There was two saunas, one steam room with changing colour lights and one relaxation room with changing colour lights and scents. The ski room had plenty of ski boot heaters/dryers. The decor was nice the print painting above my bed headboard was nice. The various historical photos and other decorations were nice too. The ski bus stop was less than 5 minutes walk away.

Czech Republicvery thin pillows, but other than this I had no problems with the stay!
Great place to stay, breakfast was very good with many options -typical fresh bread, sandwich meats, cheeses, granola and cereals with jogurts and vegetables as well as each morning we had the option of freshly prepared eggs made to order! My partner is also gluten-free and they had no problem to accommodate this (with advanced notice of course). We also had dinner one night at the hotel and they change the menu options daily. Staff is very kind and welcoming! Sauna and pool area is very good, we enjoyed it after long days of skiing. The village itself is very calm and quiet with a restaurant just 2-3min walk away.

The hotel is very nicely decorated, with sauna (4) and pool area. Their breakfast has a good choice of food and dinners are very delicious with different menus every day. The hotel is run by a family and they look after their guests with great care. A huge thank you to Patrick and his father for the warm welcome and care! We are definitely coming back! Further the hotel offers a storage for skiing/snowboarding equipment with heated rucks to dry the shoes. Another important point is that the hotel is in a very quiet location ( as a light sleeper it is very important for me) and is only about 50 meters from the bus stop with 2 ski resorts option: Fendels about 30min and Kaunertaler Gletscher - about 40 min by ski bus. 1. Fendels is relatively small resort that is great for beginners, getting lessons in skiing and snowboarding or if the group you travel with has different levels in skiing or snowboarding as it has red, blue and orange slopes. it is also an alternative in case Gletscher gets closed due to heavy snow. The resort offers ski/snowboarding hire shop “Sport 2000”, children and adults skiing/snowboarding school, 2 restaurants, lockers and WC facilities. 2. Kaunertaler Gletscher is much bigger ski resort that offers several slopes including black for very experienced one. It also has ski/snowboarding hire shop “Sport 2000”, skiing school, 2 restaurants, heated lockers where you could leave your skiing equipment overnight and clean WC facilities.

Czech RepublicParking lot situation, but it is problem in most of the hotels. 😀 And the wellnes area - not enough clean drinking glasses. But all at all these are a really tiny things. Book your stay here! :)
The whole area is really closed to Gletscherstraße. Hotel has really nice mountain vibe. The room was clean, bed was really comfy, balkon was big enough. The breakfast buffet was great, the staff really nice and helpful. Wellnes area nice enough just for soak your muscle after the whole-day hike. We would def come back!

Czech RepublicThe hotel is really getting old. The owners fail to maintain it in a good condition. It would be OK, if the price is adjusted to the real state of the rooms. They may have a couple of refurbished rooms, but these are probably not offered to the Booking.com clients. Announced swimming pool is rather small and the place is not very well maintained.
Breakfast is really great! Good selection, nice premises, ... Indeed, the common rooms are spacious and comfortable. And the senior leader is trying to keep guests happy.

NetherlandsI paid appr. € 530,- for three nights. We stay in hotels a lot and I am happy to pay more for the bigger and better rooms, the extra attention for detail and the presence of helpful staff. During our stay there were not many other guests. They could have given us their most characterful room with the best views. I don’t think they did. Walk into room 108 and your view is the roof of the next buiding. Golf-plated… There is a water boiler in the room. What do you want me to do with it? There is nothing there to use it for. My advice: Go the English way and supply with some cups, thea-bags and some cookies or whatever in a basket. Breakfast was a bit of a deception. Substandard compared to the level we are used to in Austrian hotels. Yes, there were not many other guests, so why pack the table? But then be there and ask me what I want. And do this when we come in for breakfast, and not half an hour later, when we are done eating and staff / owner finally showed his face. To sum it up: Everything is there to make a stay at Larchenhof a great experience. But business was slow, so why bother?!. But you still took my money, enough for me to expect ‘exceptional’. It was not exceptional. I think I am kind (with a 7) giving it a ‘good’ because of the solid basis and facilities.
We enjoyed a short stay in the beautiful Kaunertal to walk the slopes of the lower valley and the rugged high parts close to the gletcher. The hotel is situated close to the Verpeilschlucht, which offers a good walk and beautiful views. We had the nice spatious and comfortable room 108, and I made happy use of the beautiful swimming pool area. I did appreciate the yoghurt and the fruits at the breakfast-table.
