This was truly an exceptional stay. We went to this hotel for a relaxing few days in spa and it was beyond our expectations. Starting from rooms and ending with the food - everything was great. You can even order to sleep on the herbal pillows - which gives you an extra relaxation. Spa is really great with many saunas and swimming pools, natural lake. Definitely will come back!

Nothing, it was faultless

The staff are wonderful, beautifully dressed in tradition Austrian clothing. The warmest welcome from the owners, delicious food, Piotre the gentleman at the bar was amazing and made us feel so special. The staff at dinner were so knowledgeable on local wines. We sat in the Burgerstube restaurant and the traditional decor Enhanced the evening. Delicious schnitzel! The best breakfast you could wish for. So much choice we were pleased to be there for three nights so we could try and sample most of it. We were there for a special occasion and had superior double rooms, the views of the mountains took our breath away and amazed us every morning. Fantastic coffee machine, quality bedrooms with so many finishing touches that made our stay so amazing. Fantastic shower, comfiest beds, balconies over looking Untersberg and the spa. The Spa facilities were beyond luxurious and we spent as much time there in between activities as possible. My daughter enjoyed the playground too. We had the best time and didn’t want to leave.

The menu and food in general doesn’t have a lot of options, especially for vegetarians or people with gluten intolerances. But we still very much enjoyed the breakfast!

Everything was amazing! We loved the new nature spa, we go to spa weekend getaways frequently and this was by far the best one we’ve been to! It’s small and easy to access, has everything we needed and the area is beautiful

Perfect - food delicious for all meals, staff exceptional, facilities 5*, air-con in rooms, location great on the edge of Salzburg with only 15 minutes into the centre of the city.

The chief barman was quite pushy and a little intimidating. The reception staff seemed to lack coordination and on occasion we were passed between different staff members without being told who was looking after us.

Breakfast was great. The spa facilities are fantastic. Some of the staff really went out of their way to provide a great service, in particular the junior barman and the lady who looked after people around the pool.

Everything. An amazing start to our holiday. Second year we stayed here. Warm welcome, very comfortable rooms, great pools and SPA, delicious food. Every detail is being thought of. We use the local bus to go into Salzburg. Works really well.
