Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

ItalyTwo doors didn't close / lock properly (bedroom and bathroom), not a big deal for us but still. A little too much residual dust (the apartment had clearly been cleaned thoroughly). The heating! Not my first time in Austria so I know it is pretty common, but it was way too hot. The nice lady at the reception had the settings adjusted after I asked but being centrally controlled I guess it had ti be kept at a certain level. I strongly recommend making it indipendent. Still a great stay! Ps from personal professional experience, I suggest you accompany guests as standard procedure :)
Great location, not in the city center but well connected and amazing view. The apartment felt very welcoming and we had everything we could have needed and more!

AustraliaWow, amazing apartment. We were there for skiing, couldn't have been better. Immaculate, comfortable, warm, generous size, so convenient. Would also be great for summer walking. Convenient little town a few minutes away on a frequent bus. We also went in to innsbruck for a dinner.

AustriaUnfortunately we missed the hairdryer in the bathroom. Also had to take shower cautiously because if you use it with full pressure the water doesn’t run down that fast.
It’s a perfect location if you don’t want to stay in the city but still being close to it. I liked the garden, the bed was very comfy, I liked the apartment overall.

Location was great and the surroundings very calm and scenic. The rooms were clean and equipped with all the necessary amenities. Comfy beds.

Clear and easy communication with host. We were clearly told how to get keys for the apartment. The apartment is managed by Römerhof hotel, and we were provided with Coffee, drinks, and some snacks. Nice gesture. The apartment was spacious and clean. Dedicated parking space nearby. We had a great stay.

GermanyThe water from the shower took around 5 minutes to get warm. First time was a bit worrying since we didn't know if it was broken or not. But after that we just knew we had to leave the water running for a while.
Comfy and fully equipped apartment. Right in front of the bus stop, running every 10 minutes and with a trip of 20 to Innsbruck city center. We could use the hotels sauna, which was really nice of them. Super comfortable bed and big living room.

SwitzerlandOn site Parking at the apartment is not possible. The near by parking space (30m) was full - which means you have to park at the Hotel it self (100m). Which is okay if you onload at the apartment and then park your car.
Over all Service was perfect. We used the occasion to have a workshop at the hotel. The staff was very nice to have everything setup for us.

After a lot of calls, chat + emails they agreed that as a big inconvenience. And you know what they? offered me a compensation of 17 Euro! All my vacation, my time taken to explain, the follow up efforts + frustration all added to a deal of 17 Euros? And that too for a returning customer? I hate booking.com
