A good basic hotel on a great location

The check-in process was a bit of a mess. My flight was delayed, so I didn't get to the hotel until after 1am. I had remembered reading that there 24-hour reception, so I thought that it wouldn't be an issue if I got there a bit late. When I arrived, the night porter told me that if you are going to arrive there after 11pm, you must tell the hotel in advance so they can make arrangements for your late check-in. He told me that this is clearly stated on Booking.com. That may be the case, just I didn't remember reading it. In any event, my flight was delayed, so if it hadn't been delayed, I would have arrived on time. Anyway, the night porter told me that due to my late arrival, even though I had pre-paid for the room, they had cancelled my booking and had released my room. Thankfully nobody else took the room in the couple of hours between 11pm and my arrival, and he was able to perform the check-in process for me wihtout any issue. So my main advice is to let the hotel know in advance if you're going to get there after 11pm, if you want to avoid an argument on arrival, and the risk of your room being sold on to another guest before you get there.

I stayed in Lenas Hotel Donau which was just a kilometre away from Donaupark parkrun. I thought the room was reasonably priced room. Decent buffet breakfast there served from the pre-parkrun-friendly time of 6:30am until 10:00am. Great selection of food including fresh fruit at the buffet. The staff were very helpful in the morning of my stay, providing me with a plastic bag to put my running gear in for my onward travel.

The hotel is super...neart to the subway, but the beds were separate

Everything was good, however if the outside temperature would be very high, then it would be a problem to sleep at night, because conditioner works very loud and outside is very noisy too, so to open the window wouldn't be an option. Other than that, the room was very clean, bed was quite comfortable as well. So all in all, I have no complaints.

Great distance from center and tram station. Nearby is a shopping mall with lot of food choice. Reception very helpful and bar working 24/7

Check in at exactly 3 PM, people gone wild fighting for a key 🙈

Good hotel, small rooms, small beds, good service, location close to shoping mall and many restaurants. They also serve breakfast. Tube station 5 min walk. Would recommend this property for sure.

Reception 24/7, position perfect even if not in historical center. It is close to metro stop, tram stop and busses (also bus for airport)

Staff were not flexible, obsessed with petty rules such as 3pm checking in, when the reception staff were doing nothing at 2.50 and there was a queue of people. Austrians generally are so obsessed with rules, when they should be more relaxed and customer focused.

Nice beds, got an extra pillow. Great location.

Very comfortable parking in the yard. Hotel is located near tram and metro stops, good connection to old town, grocery store and McDonald`s across the road. Nice place near the river. Very good with bigger dog(Golden Retriever), carpets on the floor, elevator and side door to the street for going out with dog. Looks better inside than outside, so never judge by the cover :) Breakfast was exceptional, never seen that much choise, even little automatic pancake machine :) Parking and pet costs extra, but it is worth it. We had triple room and we were 2 adults + 1 kid + dog, was totally fine + nice view to the street. We will use it again, really good stop for cartrip with family.

The beds are very narrow, and the duvet as well. I felt I will fall down the bed as it is too narrow. It would be much better if the room was equipped with a king sized bed rather than two very narrow single ones. It would be better if there was a kettle and a mini fridge in the room.

The fact that the WiFi was public is not ok, it opens up your devices to cyberattacks.

It was clean, the room had AC and the breakfast was really good, worth the money.

It was not the hotels fault, but there was no available parking at the hotel, so we parked on the street. Next day we had a parking ticket for 35€ :( Our fault for not researching about the parking system in Vienna (very complicated), so beware about this.

Good value for money, short train ride to city center . Train is about 5-10 min walking distance.
