How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Parking is a major issue - there is a short street under the hotel with some cars parked in an unorganized way. Most of designated spots are reserved. This issue might me due to construction nearby. But since it's a hotel designed for overnight stops, proper parking is expected. Breakfast looked sad, I suggest skipping it and finding any decent restaurant nearby
It's an inexpensive place to sleep a night when you are driving - clearly the function of the hotel. But the parking is almost non-existent.

The bed was a little narrow, but it wasn't a problem.

Checking in was not very easy as the machine printed a non existing roomnumber.
Nice hotel with two chambers if you order seperate beds. Very nice breakfast. Not the most beautiful location, but for transit a good place.

A bit far from city center compared to the size of the city. There were some moths in the room

The double bed against the wall is really not comfortable for 2 people. The window coverings were not blocking the light in the morning disturbing the sleep. Price gouging during MotoGP

There was a weird smell in the bathroom. Don't know if that comes from the ventilation system pipes? But it smelled like stale smoke. Soap was not refilled before my stay. No aircon or fan.

Location of room was just under breakfast area, and some people drinking down there and they werw really lood. Impossiblle to sleep. Because there are no people from the hotel to tell them it was realky anoying...

The kiosk used o check in couldn't print our key card so we had to call the emergency line. There was a way to get an emergency card to get into our room but we found out that it would open any room. So that meant that other people could have gotten into our room using an emergency card.
Clean. Comfortable. Could check in late.

We have some problem with chech in..there is no personal,you should use automatical system without correct instructions.But at the number there it was kind operator. We were there out of students semestr so city was a little empty..
It was just for one night during travelling.Room was clean,breakfast was served from 6 a.m. and it is great for next travel.

At first it has to be said that more than a hotel this accomodation reminds me of a residence hall. However,this was not neccesarily a bad thing because the room was well-equipped with a fridge, microwave oven and electric double cooker. The room was clean and bathroom was quite spacious. There are no dishes in the room - they have to be rent in different rooms. Having check-in machine after 16.00 is maybe not typical but there were no problems with the process. It was quite quick and smooth - if you need no assistance of any kind during non-working hours, I consider this way of handling check-in as acceptable. The breakfast was good - typical selections of foods (ham,cheese,oats,müsli,tea,coffee...) was fine and served from 6 am on working days. The location is favorable because it takes only some 10 minutes to get to the city center. All in all, recommended for those looking for simple and reasonably priced accomodation.

The shower wouldn’t hold in position, making showering a bit of a chore. The bin hadn’t been changed before we arrived which led to a smelly first night.
Great location, staff very friendly and helpful, excellent customer service on the build up to the trip.

Is was what we expected. As we spent most of the time on de F1 circuit we only slept and had breakfast in the hotel and didn't need facilities.
We spend the weekend for visiting the Austrian F1 grand prix. Due to many many many traffic jams I had to call we would not make it at check in time. This issue was solved swiftly so did not have to worry about that check in time when stuck in traffix.
