We had two rooms. The one with view on Zugspitze is nice, but room 6 with view on backside of hotel was poor. Some selfmade toilet, wooden cabin. How you can keep that clean? Maybe you might upgrade the room by placing new sanitairy block.

1)Not a good first impression as we were met by a really awful smell in reception when we arrived (drain issue?) But to be fair this was very very quickly sorted out within 15mins (impressive as we didn't see by who or how and there was no one there to report it to) and it smelled absolutely fine after that. 2) Only a minor thing but our room when first entered needed to be aired (bit stale) but not too bad and was fine once the windows were opened to let some air in. 3) The trust bar was just a fridge that was very minimally stocked with a limited range of soft drinks only. Lovely bar with plenty of glasses but you could not get to use them and there was no self serve beer or wine available. Could be a great facility if staffed or if not then with better self serve options. 4) Rooms are very good size but be prepared they are "sport" style / "minimalist" format and have open hanging space, no drawers etc. But they have all the amenities you need including hairdryer, toiletries, safe, long mirror, heated towel rails etc etc. 5) We had been regularly to this hotel over many years when it provided cosy family run hospitality and also offered the option of a restaurant for evening meals and they had afternoon apre-ski snacks that welcomed you back from a day on the slopes in the lounge, and it was staffed all day with excellent service into the evening, and a lovely bar for relaxation. Since it has been sold and converted into a Smarthotel there is inveitably less soul about the place and it is not as comfortable, but it is still good value and offers the functionality and some great facilities for an active stay. The staff who cleaned and attended at breakfast time were always cheerful and helpful. Would be nice to have them there to serve at the bar etc. in the evening. 6) The place is looking a little worn down and in need of some redecoration/maintenance generally on the walls and floors in the pool, corridors, and outside e.g.

1) Great wellness area - with two saunas, two steam rooms (one not working) a double infrared cabin, quiet chill down area with recliner seats, 2nd quiet area with beds, ice machine (not working), showers and nice tea selection. Towels were available for the sauna and the pool (thankfully this was better than I had expected after getting a different answer from Keyone to this question I sent them beforehand). 2) Very friendly and helpful staff. 3) Good location - in good snow it is possible to ski back to the boot room. Otherwise it's just a 5 min walk to the gondola. 4) Nice games room in the basement with two pool tables, table tennis, table football, pinball machine, driving game, darts machine and playing cards. 5) Nice seated lounge area on ground floor by the bar (not stocked or staffed though) but could be made a bit more comfortable with lighting etc. 6) Good hot and cold breakfast buffet. 7) Big double bedroom family room with two shower/basin areas and loads of hanging space. Great view from a good size balcony with table and chairs. 8) A small indoor pool, and a larger outdoor pool (which unfortunately wasn't open in the winter when we stayed). The indoor pool was in fact open in the morning (again this was different, positively, from the answer I got sent by Keyone when enquiring beforehand) so it was lovely to be able to have a quick pre-breakfast dip to wake up and stretch the muscles before a day of skiing. 9) Generally a great range of facilities and well-appointed accommodation.

Room was very bare, for example there were no bedside tables and only one chair. Only 1 electrical socket next to the bed. The two issues above were compounded by the absence of hotel staff on the premises, which meant that we did not contact them (to rectify these issues) during our stay. The room's wooden ensuite "island" wasn't very private. The pool was cold.

The beds and pillows were not good. The pillows were very flat, and the beds were on the harder side. No A/C at all, so we had to have the windows open to cool the room a little. This place was cute and quaint, but honestly a little creepy feeling with the low lighting everywhere.

The breakfast was amazing and their lounge space was nice for just hanging out. Great location.

The built in toilet and shower area is only for people who are intimate with each other, you don’t have privacy. The pillow was too thin for me. When going to the bathroom during the night I had to switch on the light in the heading part of the bed which would wake up my partner. Personally I don’t find carpeting too hygienic for a room where people walk around in shoes or barefoot. Bit it was okay for 4 days. I received the instructions on how to check out only at 9 am on the departure day.. not so convenient in case you need to leave early in the morning. I find the village itself a pass through for a lot of traffic, I thought it was a quiet village , so some car noises may come in occasionally.

Excellent breakfast buffet with different kinds of fresh bread, scrambled eggs and bacon, boiled egg, loose tea and boiling hot water, I loved the tea, good choice in ham, cheese, tomatoes, vegan spreads and “milk.” Everything was very fresh, clean, well laid out and room to walk around. Juices, yoghurts, vegan yoghurts, fruit salad, oat meal, croissants, some sweet pastries, it was excellent! The bedroom is a good size with comfortable clothing hanging section, a desk, tv, balcony, and a very good bed. The hotel is super clean everywhere ! The wellness area is amazing , all clean, good quality, hot sauna’s, wonderful relax areas, soft towels, a bath robe in the hotel room, tea and fruit water in the wellness area, nice swimming pool, indoor and outdoor, not to swim laps, bit to swim a bit and look at the stars. Flexible opening hours, the pool opens at 7 am and the sauna area at 16:00 pm, closure at 9 pm. Good bicycle garage/storage, opens at 7 am amd closes at 9 pm. However, no electricity points to charge an e-bike. Hotel was very safe and relaxed atmosphere. Check in via an e-mail on the day of arrival with a room number and a code to the safe to tupe in, open the safe and get the key. Same code to return the key on the departure day. Even though the hotel is not the same as it was when the previous owners ran it with their heart and soul, it is very comfortable, clean and relaxing.

Self check in ridiculous, Security poor - front door unlocked. Keycode to get key but only wooden box to leave checkout key. Staff we did see were not happy.

I missed a possibility to store food in a fridge, as we are on special diet and had to bring our own food. The bathroom is directly in the room and the toilet is basically a wooden closet.

Breakfast was amazing, we are vegan and for the first time we had really rich vegan breakfast in the hotel. The are of the hotel was amazing, saunas are exceptional, the swimming pool that was placed both outside and inside was great. The rooms with the balconies were nice and spacious.

The parking is very limited and it doesn't even provide a possibility to unload the car in front of the hotel. Parking is on a supermarket parking along the road. The building exterior has the charm of a haunted mansion and the entrance is hidden away along the side. The entrance should be locked with a keypad, but it isn't, so everyone can easily enter the building. Because there's no staff in the hotel, the eerie atmosphere continues with empty desks and bad lighting. It's the backrooms IRL. The rooms are big, but why is the room hallway also the bathroom? And why is the shower lined in wood? The shower is molded and smelly because of this. Add al if this together and it's clear that the hotel is overpriced.

The location along the Fernpaß is beautiful and easy to reach. The sleeping area of the chamber was nice and the breakfast was of good quality.

Pool was cold, the outside pool was not opened at all even though the weather was not bad. Wireless was too weak to be used in our room.

No staff to meet you in the hotel. No staff around if you had a problem. We arrived in the evening to find that there was no cot in the bedroom. When I booked the hotel, I rang to check that they could put a cot in the room. Then I rang a couple of days before we left to make sure the hotel knew that we needed a cot. When we arrived and there was no cot, I rang Key One for assistance. I was told that I'd have to wait until tomorrow when they would make sure the cleaners sorted it out. Thankfully, my husband looked around the hotel and found one in a press! Outdoor pool was never open.

Breakfast in the hotel was good. Staff in the morning for breakfast were very helpful and friendly.

It was a bit weird overall to not have a receptionist. We always had to wait until the morning if we had an issue or question. The rooms in the old building could use a new paint coat. Likewise the wet saunas could use a bit of renovations. Lastly some instructions in English in the wellness area could have helped us.

Amazing location in Lermoos. Very nice wellness area and great breakfast. They also have a game room in the basement but we only found it on our last day. Very nice staff in the mornings.
