Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

MontenegroThe only inconvenience is evening time: I'm not sure if dinner in the restaurant is as great as price, and there are no other restaurants nearby (St Anton is under 20 minutes of walk downhill, and have a lot of options, but you will not want to spend 20 min for that after skiing, and go uphill after). The last ability to return conveniently from St Anton to the hotel is at 7pm on public bus (pls check this info - I'm not sure if I remember the schedule right). or walk uphill, or expensive taxi. But anyway it is solvable.
Breakfast is grate, the Room is stylish and nice. The interiors of public zones are Great. Hotel has their own transfers, which is great, very nice and helpful personnel.

UkraineWe really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Everything was great: the accommodation itself, the breakfast, the staff (Sam, Barbara and Max were fabulous!). The location was great too, while not at the center of the city, it’s a drop away + with hotel transfer, we were at the ski lifts in 5 minutes. We loved everything about it. The owner also does the ceramics herself which you then use during breakfast. A nice touch! You can feel that everything was made with love. We would warmly recommend this place.

United KingdomNothing, can't complain with anything.
Everything was impeccable, from the breakfast and dinner to the amazing bedroom views and free shuttle busses back and forth from the hotel and bus station. All the staff were friendly and helpful, especially Samantha, who helped us with any problems and had a very lovely chat with us every morning.

United StatesLocation is about 10 minutes walk from the center which was the only drawback.
This hotel has a wonderful Mountain View and presents the best value for money in the entire area of overpriced mediocre hotels. Also unlike most Austrian hotels, the charming dining room offered a great variety of vegetarian options.

United StatesNo coffee maker in the room (though easy to get coffee downstairs). No hot tub or pool. The location of the hotel is a bit of a walk to get into town (but that actually turned out to be good for getting a few more steps in during the day).
This hotel is owned and managed by a family, and it has a very cosy, easy going and comfortable atmosphere, with good music and comfortable chairs. The breakfast included artisan breads, cereals, cold cuts, and freeze squeezed juices. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful in every respect. The dinners were both tasty and good value.

United KingdomI would have preferred a hotel location closer to the centre but the in-house shuttle was very helpful in overcoming this issue during the ski commute times, and there is also a free public bus service.
Breakfast was a feast of choices. Great bread and cooked options with plentiful amounts of fruit, yogurt, oats, cheese and meats, as well as health juices and freshly squeezed (DIY) orange juice. This was all overseen by the charming Sam who also runs a tight ship. Everything was explained and nothing was too much trouble. Cooked items appeared with amazing speed.

The bar was very well stocked and the bar staff (Barbara and Max) were such excellent company and really made the trip special. PolandThe fact that we have to leave so fast. Next time we will book the room for longer, so we can fully enjoy all the activities which hotel is providing.
We like the fact, that our family, which was staying in another place could join us for breakfast. That made our day and thanks to that we spent a quality time together.

DenmarkThe location of the hotel is a bit remote from the center, 10 min walk, but there is a bus 200 meter from the hotel and furthermore the hotel ski shuttle made it up for the location. (deliver the guest to the lift in the morning and pick up again in the afternoon).
Very nice and cozy hotel. The staff was very friendly and Sam was taking care of all the guest at the breakfast, and she is a lovely lady that made our stay a very nice experience.

SwedenThe hotel had a wonderful, welcoming staff and friendly ambiance that created laughter and light conversation amongst guests. They provided transport to/from the lift (in addition to the public bus that stopped just up the hill), and access to a well-located depot for ski and boot storage near the lift so I didn't have to lug my gear around. Check in and check out was simple and fast. Beautiful view of the hill from my room, and a comfy sofa to lounge on after a challenging day on the slopes. My son, who is working the season in the area, was warmly welcomed by the staff and joined me for breakfast. I look forward to staying here again.
