How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The apartment is literally luxurious and in a special place near a supermarket on the lower floor and many restaurants near the building. The apartment’s finishes are high-end and it has everything you need for your stay. Transportation is very close, just a few minutes’ walk away. The apartment was on the 23rd floor, so the view from the balcony was breathtaking and good for relaxing at the end of the day.

The only thing missing was a fan hood in the kitchen. Although the kitchen is fully equipped, it's only suitable for some light cooking. Other than that we have no complaints.
The location was excellent and the view from the apartment was amazing. The roof top pool was a big plus especially during hot days. The apartment is very nearby the public transport that connects you to the main sites. And there's a supermarket and restaurants right below the building which is very convenient.

The underfloor air-conditioning wasn't artic cold like others might be due to the eco-friendly design, but it was pleasantly cool enough with the curtains shut during the morning sun.
Outstanding property. Everything about the stay was first class. The host reached out to us prior to our stay to make sure we were well prepared to locate and access the property and offer advice on the area. The apartment itself is fabulous. Clean, modern and comfortable. Prepare for the view because it is amazing! The pictures simply do not do it justice. We took full advantage of the rooftop pool, the downstairs supermarket and other residents of the building very friendly and accommodating. They treat you like a fellow resident. We stayed for 3 nights attending a concert at Ernst Hepell and it was perfect - a short walk to the venue. Outside of that, you are a very short walk to Schlachthausgasse which is a great station to explore the rest of Vienna. And there are some nice restaurants in the area by the looks although we didn't take advantage of them.

It was a great apartment with a breathtaking view. The host was very very friendly and very eager. There was everything you could want, about coffee and milk, a good! hairdryer and a portable music box ! Highly recommended

This 2 bedroom unit has one toilet and one separate shower/bath room. Not bad, but required some morning "scheduling".
Great communication with Stefan, the host. Great location, views, amenities (both within the unit itself & around the building). And there's a great grocery store (Billa) at the ground level of the building with convenient hours, as well as a good Italian restaurant (there's a Greek restaurant too, but I didn't get a chance to try it out this visit). Very comfortable place to stay. Just a short Uber ride or very pleasant walk to downtown.

everything was great
Very comfortable, nice and quiet apartment with great city view, very well equipped. 5 mins walk from the metro station which will take you directly to St Stephan cathedral in 10 mins.

The apartment was magnificent. The host was super informative and always willing to assist with questions about the city. The views are to die for and the location is just perfect. The U-bahn is very close and super connected to everything. The supermarket connected to the building is a plus and for families this is just perfect. The host answers your queries within 30 mins of sending a message and you are not left wondering. Everything you need is available in the apartment and the bonus is that they send you the information before hand, which is perfectly laid out. Following them was the easiest I have ever had.

Great brand new location with an incredibly spectacular view over Vienna. Access by car is very straight forward and the underground station is within walking distance, few minutes away.

Air con. did not work and could not be repaired which made the stay uncomfortable. Apartment needs air so you need to open doors to balcony. Traffic noise and potential neighbour noise is high with balcony doors open.
Relatively new property on a reasonable location with good access to public transport.
