Disco a bit loud/late in rooftop bar on a couple of nights

As i said before, the food variety and quality could've been better. Also the staff are efficient but not particularly friendly or pro-active (with a couple of great exceptions).

Breakfast & dinner buffets good but not brilliant. Both were very "samey" which meant by day 4 you were itching for something new. Honestly - just a bit dull food wise. The hotel itself was very well decorated and kept very clean indeed. Excellent pool, spa & games room facilities. Both bars were relaxing.

Spa area officially works until 21h, but if you arrive at 20:30h all the saunas are off already which I really disliked. Breakfast official hours are until 11AM, but most of the food is being collected after 10AM, so if you’re having breakfast at 10:30h, you’re left with a very limited choice. Don’t see the point of these longer hours if you’re not able to keep a good and versatile selection of food which you started breakfast hours with.

Staff was friendly and helpful with tips and tricks regarding the ski area and the slopes. Hotel offers free shuttle to the slopes if you’re not interested into the nearest one (that is 2 minutes walk away). They also offered free ski guide for the first day to show us around the ski area. Hotel is very clean. The location is great.

Staff were so friendly nothing was too much for them. So much to do for the children after a day of skiing. Food delicious.

Very stylish, modern, easy going, cool place. Workers are very friendly, hard working people. They do not stop. Pool little bit smaller that on the photos , but stll very useful. Saunas perfect. My stay at Obertauern Places by Valamar was exceptional! The staff were incredibly welcoming and always on hand to help, making my visit truly memorable. The room was cozy and modern, and the location couldn't be better for exploring Obertauern. Their local recommendations were spot-on, enhancing my experience. Highly recommend for a top-notch stay!

I asked for separate beds in September and got an answer in December on the first day where I was not able to cancel the booking any longer that this is only possible if there are available rooms. Ended up sleeping in a marital bed with my friend. I would have cancelled if I knew that before. Very hard mattress!

Nicely renovated, many hallways connecting many previously detached buildings, like a labyrint. Very nice breakfast and dinner buffet. Lovely spa with lots of uneducated guests bringing their shoes to sauna.

Amazing property … honestly it was an amazing experience staying at this property … our cars got stuck in the snow while arriving at the hotel and the hotel manager was incredibly helpful in sorting out our car even though it was not their problem … truly above and beyond level of service

We loved the highlight of the bed yet we found it a bit hard. They might loose the hardness over some time and some guests. We were after-all amongst the first. The same goes for the sofa for our daughter but they reassured us the top ups are on the way, for next time when we return;)

Amazing stuff, genuinely kind and welcoming. A fusion of an old hotel with a fresh breath of modern, guest experience building facility. You MUST try the buzz room, simply WOW. Spa is super clean and offers treatments with therapists, who have hands of goddess! I recommend Ayurveda treatment! Ski slops are just a few meters away, so you have all the freedom to return at your own pace and not being dependent on the whole family. Rooftop bar is breathtaking and the lobby bar offers a cozy place to enjoy a drink before dinner. We are wine lovers and honestly the offer was very nice, per glass or per bottle;) If you are a cocktail person, go for Gorgeous G, my husband loved it!
