You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

Hungarywe had no negative comments.
New house in a very pleasant setting with all necessary amenities, also with a small private garden. Cycling and hiking in the immediate vicinity, the river Ybbs is almost at the end of the garden. The house is immaculately clean, the kitchen is excellently equipped, the staff is kind and helpful. 4 km away is a grocery store, and the house next door is a gasthof, although it seemed to us to have random flexible opening hours. :)

HungaryThe wifi router is located in a way that it doesn't cover the whole apartment.
The beds were extremely comfortable, and the bathroom nice and clean. The whole apartment is just delightful.

SlovakiaI am not used to Austrian style pillows, so some of the smaller rectangular ones in the wardrobe would have been a nice touch.
There were drinks in a fridge in the hall with an honesty box, if we needed anything as there aren't shops nearby and also a bread ordering service which was lovely. There is a bar/ restaurant 50 metres away too!

AustriaNo barrier/door at/towards the staircase - our toddlers (14 & 16m) loved climbing up and down, and improved at it a lot in the four days we stayed, however a constant supervision was needed -if you have small kids maybe consider bringing a staircase barrier or try to arrange something with the owners (we did not try as we've spent little time inside).
Very spacious and beautiful apartment, with a lot of attention to detail, grass area and terrace with grilling setup attached, fully equipped kitchen, nearby stream, beautiful views, you are surrounded by nature. Multiple trips in the area possible with driving time up to 30 minutes. Peaceful and quite, great for relaxing (we stayed over a weekend+public holidays). Local pub with a childs playground right next doors (families with little children will appreciate). We were 2 families with 2 toddlers (14&16 months old) and a dog and it was perfect. On the top of that, very friendly and helpful owners.
