Bunk beds may not suit for kids with less than 5 years kids but that is not a problem at all. I would still recommend this hotel for family.

Location is very good. 10-12 mins by walk from station and there are plenty of public transport options as well available. Hotel ambience is cool, with kids and friends you can hangout in common area. Kitchen is big enough to cook your stuff if you need.

The single beds look small. Decor look cheap. Need to carry luggage up the stairs to the reception.

The facilities were lacking - the kitchen was small with only one sink and cooker for the whole hostel. The laundry facilities were also out of order.

Although in their regulation it is written that there are no checks in after 11pm, two people came in our room around midnight and 1 am with their laggeges and made a lot of noise.

It would've been better if rooms had a kettle in them. The common kitchen could be better equipped with multiple utensils.

I was gobsmacked to see no HOOKS on the wall in the shower to hang my towel and clothes...I had to drop my clothes and towel on the floor which was unhygienic , undignified and uncivilized.... Furthermore when I was showering I had no SOAPHOLDER to put my soap on and had to balance the bar on top of the sliding screen door...These are obvious faults that need to be rectified asap..Also a grip HANDLE for keeping balance on the slippery tiles while showering to prevent falls is imperative for your safety...These 3 items - (1) Hooks (2) Soapholder (3) Grip Handle are my foremost constructive suggestions....Also the ration of toilet paper was too miserly and a few mornings there was none to be had - a few more rolls in reserve would be appreciated.... Finally a common bread toaster / an extra microwave for rush hour in the guest kitchen and tea towels to dry dishes would be welcome additions to bring the Innsbruck Hotel Meininger up to tiptop international standard.

I liked the location next to Spar , cafes , Cinemas , public transport...The historic building . modern hotel with good room and clean sheets..Good quality at good price.

I think the bathrooms should be outside the room. Like a bigger communal bathroom. I felt like I was disturbing my roommates when I came in later or if they woke up earlier. I prefer the bathroom outside the room for this reason.

The staff were friendly and I found the location particularly helpful as I wanted to explore the city. It was super close to transport and bascially everything you would need. I was a solo travel and I felt very safe and comfortable.

The main hotel entrance could use a sign because it's like a hidden staircase at the corner

the staff has to be more cooperative and knowledgeable about the needs and expectations of visitors. eg. I asked where can I find the sightseeing buses to the receptionist, but unfortunately, he had no idea. this is the minimum he has to know and inform the visitors.

The location was really good and the staff was very friendly. I took the breakfast option in the morning and I really liked it.

Our shower wasn't great, you couldn't have the water pressure high as it would flood both the bathroom and sleeping area. We had to alternate when to have a shower as the drainage was poor, it is not possible to take a shower after one another as you would have your own personal swimming pool! The bathroom smelt really bad aswell, please sort out the drainage situation. At this hotel you have to ask for your room to be cleaned, which isn't an issue but we were asking for extra towels everyday to soak up the water on the floor after we had a shower. I asked at reception if the wet towels could be removed as they would start to smell, they did not get removed straight away. The beds were not great either, I left with such a bad back. I understand that we didn't pay for 5* star luxury but the two main features of a hotel (Bed & Shower), were quite adequate.

Fantastic location! Staff were helpful and always welcomed us with a smile.

There is no parking at a hotel if you are traveling by your own car .please think before booking. Behind the hotel road parking is limited to 1:30 hours. I recommend not to book with family if you are traveling with Car. Mattresses were very soft , so for me, not a comfortable sleeping. Shower gel was also not filled for 4 people.
