Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

PolandLack of bed lamp! Come on, it's small and simple, little desk by the bed with lamp would be a perfect fit. Also, maybe add in a tv? I'd pay a little more, to have something to watch in the evenings.
Nice little room, perfect your a single person stay for a couple of nights.

IndiaIt's a bit of a distance from the city center. I tried walking but decided to take the tram.
The key-less entry concept is great. The helpful host Konstantin maintains a website with useful check-in info such as codes to the building entrance and my room door. Furthermore, it's also a very clean property.

AustriaThe apartment was small, but cozy. The cleanliness is sufficient but not pristine (those with high hygienic awareness will notice dust and a few strands of hair). The walls are on the thin side, so if you mind the noise at night you should reconsider this apartment (if one of the other guests snores while sleeping, is showering, or is talking, you will hear it). However, I honestly didn’t mind this. The beds are perfect, and the apartment itself was sufficiently staffed with everyday items (hair dryer, coat-hangers, towels etc.) It is located in a fantastic spot (at least for my purposes). Information for check-in was perfect, and the check-in itself was smooth. The only personally bothering factor while I stayed at this apartment was the building’s entrance. I sometimes couldn’t enter the building due to a lock issue I believe. So, it was a bit discomforting to play lottery whenever I wanted to enter the building.

SerbiaBathroom was dirty with multiple hair on tiles, trashcan was full, friedge was dirty. On top of all we payed 18€ cleaning tax. Code for main entrance wasn’t working, we had to enter same code four or five times just to enter. No key under the mat and contact with property wasn’t helpful.

Czech RepublicWe hated the smell of the soap and shower gel. All in the room is done half-heartedly.
The room has all you need. The staff (the person who communicates with you) is good. All instructions are clear and sent in advance. The location is good and there are bus stops and tram stops nearby. Food stores as well. Fast Wi-Fi. We can recommend it. We will definitely consider it next time we visit Vienna.

GermanyElectronic door lock wasn’t working properly. A key to the apartment was placed under the doormat where it was publicly accessible. Hence, any stranger or previous guest could easily enter the apartment. Then, rooms were only locked with a four digits code made up by four different numbers (1-4) and could therefore be accessed relatively easily as well. Thus, I did not feel comfortable having my 2000,- € MacBook inside the apartment, since a burglar could relatively easy enter my room. Still, when people wanted to leave the apartment, the electronic door lock had to be used. It was quite loud and particularly annoying at night times since walls were paper thin. That said, if any other guest took a shower (no matter the time of the day) you could hear that. You could also hear the neighbouring room’s loud bathroom fan every time the guests used their bathroom. The room was dirty and generally not well cleaned. An empty bottle stood next the rubbish bin, inside the fridge there were some take away food leftovers. The fridge was loud, and when I switched it off, I had to defrost it to not cause a mess inside. Two cheap IKEA chairs at the table were covered with cheap animal fur, that did neither look well nor clean. The white walls had several stains all over and need proper cleaning (hint: try a “magic sponge“ or “dirt eraser“ for efficient cleaning). I found spider webs (ie., the residues) in several corners of the room. The toilet seat was broken and so was the toilet. Flushing always caused the water to overspill and I had to clean the puddle of water underneath the toilet many times. The shower gel inside the shower was empty and the drain was blocked with hair from previous guests. When I went into the bed at the first night, I started coughing heavily. Fortunately, I was travelling with a sleeping bag. My coughing got better as soon as I replaced the blankets with this. Emergency exit signs were missing.
Location was good. Washing machine was available inside the apartment (I didn’t need it though). Toilet paper was incredibly soft.

AustriaYou cant close the door inside so everybody who knows the code easily can come in to your apartment, and eventually they will… when i arrived after 3pm i took a shower, i was getting dressed when somebody just opened the door and wanted to come inside… i asked the owner to please noone come in to my apartment until i checked out, but i think its never should been asked since its should be normal thing. At the morning i was out, but when i come back there was two strangers in my apartment, using my chargers, hands are in my bag what i left there…. I called the police, the owner didnt pick up the phone of course. I was sent away when i still could be there since i booked and payed for this apartment!! Insane! Because of this incident i missed my flight to Italy and my whole vacation got ruined, i lost 400€ and a vacation because of the owner!!! Im not even sure those two person was really guests with real booking. They were immediately became aggressive when i called the police, they were absolutely offensive and kept attacking me while i just wanted to be alone in my rented apartment how is it supposed to be…. I found strangers in my apartment touching/using my stuff also and even i was attacked!!! Insane!! I told them too, if thats true what they are saying then there is nothing to worry about, but they definitely seemed worried about the police! I think they are connected with the owner, i can imagine thats how they are using and maybe robbing the guests also! If they are real guests then its also failure of the owner! Let others booking the apartment when its already booked and like i said they dont change the code on the door and you cant even close it from the inside!!! The owner’s “solution” / reaction: “there is nothing i can do” I will definitely contact the relevant authorities, especially until the owner compensates me! I absolutely not recommend this place! Especially if you are traveling alone!!

UkraineThere were problems with the main entrance door: when using the password, the door simply would not open. But it's good that the host provided an alternative way of entry, which helped. Also, half of the paprika was left in the kitchen cupboard from the previous residents :) The window was also poorly closed, either it was initially incorrectly opened, or it was broken.
The room was clean, there was everything you needed: plates, cups, cutlery, pots, pans. There is an electronic stove, kettle, refrigerator. The bed is small but comfortable, Wi-Fi is fast and stable. Public transport stops can be quickly reached from the apartment, which will allow you to get to the center. There is also a train station nearby

PolandSmall, despite working radiator nights were a little cold (which was interested as the temperature outside was around 12-20) also it’s a flat divided into 4 separate studio flats which means you can hear other people pretty loudly (recommend to take ear plugs if you a light sleeper, there was some people being loud the first night, having a party at 3 am but host was very accommodating next day, wrote to them and it didn’t happen again). Also toilet is situated in a weird and uncomfortable spot as it feels like you sitting on the wall. Our recommendation is to provide a kitchen towel, cutting board and maybe instal dishrag as there is no space to dry them I the flat.
The property location is great, walking distance from the main train station, also walking distance to the bus/ tram/ subway which can get you to the main city/ tourist attractions within 15 minutes.Regarding the place itself it had all necessary things for a short stay including kitchen appliances (dish soap, cutlery, glasses and mugs, plates, kettle, pan and pot etc.), small fridge (which cools things very well), a set of towels per person (small and big one),soap and shower gel in the bathroom. Also there are some nice restaurants around with quality food. We recommend Hotline 5 - Smash Burger and Don Sergio. Great Service and fantastic food. Very responsive host (replying to the messages).

AustriaI had a horrible experience. Bad smell, broken bed, and dirty bed sheets. The kitchen was a messy. I couldn’t even use the kitchen. We complained to them and we left the place a day before the check out because we could not stand anymore. The picture provided does not reflect the reality. I do not recommend this place.
