How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Receiving automated and generic messages that did not match my reservation details in full can get you confused. But this is just a really minor detail/issue...
The establishment is no hassle, basic pension with excellent location. Everything is automated and works.

Down side is that it doesn't have a separate room, but it basically consists of only 1 room. Sleeping room should somehow be divided in a separate room. Bed and pillows seam to be the cheapest ones or have been used for too long.
Location is perfect! Once you park your car, there is no need to even use public transport. The apartment itself is spacious, well equipped, fairly well maintained. It is clean.

This is a great, very clean apartment. The location can't be beat. We walked to all of the museums and cathedrals. Several restaurants around. There is an Irish pub in the same building. That was a big plus because a nice cold beer (or two, or three) is exactly what is needed after a long day of exploring Vienna and all it has to offer. I just hope that it is available for the next time I am in Vienna. The owners were also very responsive and helpful.

Very little noise in the background coming from Irish pub the night, but not a problem actually.
We stayed in compact double room and it is larger than it seems in the photos. Location is very convenient, near to shopping street of Mariahilfe Strasse, so close to subway stations and approximately 10min walk to museum area as well as 20min walk to very hearth of city. Bed was so comfy.

Close to a few bars, had some street noise late into the night but it is a major city and we couldn't hear music / bass from the bars. The building entrance is shared with other flats and is clearly undergoing a little renovation so while the room and floor of the building the apartments are in are so lovely, clean and modern, the rest of the building you first walk through is a strange first impression - don't be put off!
Excellent location, 10 minute walking distance to palace and city centre. Easy walking distance from train station. Excellent restaurants nearby, clean and comfortable room with all amenities, multiple key pad / swipe door into apartment - felt super safe.

The staff are amazing, they allowed us to leave our bags at the property after we checked out. Always answered swiftly and with all the details. There are three metro stations nearby and the inner circle of the city is within walking distance. Overall amazing place for the price.

The apartment was situated in a very convenient location. The room was clean and tidy, although not spotless, but considering the price it was definitely worth the stay. Overall, I had a great experience and would highly recommend it to others. An added bonus was the option to leave my luggage after checking out.

It was a wonderful time. I was a little anxious about the no contact check in, but everything went smoothly so it really wasn't a big deal. Love the comfortable bed and the location was great! Overall very nice experience.

Walks were thin could hear people talking in neighbouring rooms. Irish pub underneath apartments groups gathered around entrance in evening smoking weed. Would be annoying in summer with noise and smell

All was good.
We were lucky to get a more spacious apartment even though we booked a compact one. It was nice and comfortable. There was a kitchen with a fridge, coffee-maker, even a dishwasher! The bed was big and comfortable. Location is really good (could go on foot to State Opera, Musikverein, oldtown and other main points). Apartment was quiet and we could have a good rest. We would defenitely book again if going back to Vienna.

Unfortunately when we were at the hotel in the afternoon, all we could hear was the owners dog, either barking or crying for attention. Wouldn’t recommend being in the hotel in the afternoon if you’re trying to sleep

Very good location. A lot of popular tourist destinations are located nearly, in distance of 10 min walk. Perfect check in & check out system. Assistance from staff is quick and kind. Apartment was very clean and wide.

The location was fantastic... walking distance to everything! Plenty of restaurants and bars close by. Room was comfortable and had a mini kitchen and living room area.
