The bed is unfortunately not very comfortable. The room also somehow warmed up during the day, but opening the windows meant getting a lot of noise in.

The host is charming and very welcoming. He's great! He greeted us at the airport (and the flight was late!), gave us a little tour of the city and left lots of info on museums. The location is super central. Can't get more central than this.

Karl and Alexia went above and beyond my expectations- I think it will be hard for any future hosts to beat them in terms of kindness, hospitality and customer service. The flat has all I needed for a short city-break and is in a great location, close to one of the main train stations, with most main sites within walking distance. If I were to return to Vienna, I would have no doubt about where to stay. Thank you again Karl and Alexia 😊

Sleeping is a fold out bed - it is comfortable but may be difficult for two people

Karl the host met at the airport and drive into town with a little tour around before arriving at the accommodation. Accommodation is very well placed for exploring on foot and nearby to trams, opera house being 5 minutes walk away as an example.

Great location. In walking distance from most of the attractions. Karl was great. He picked us up from the airport, gave us a tour of the town, and stopped along the way to tell us about what we could visit.

Karl and Alexia's place is great! First, we were greeted by a friendly and kind welcome from Karl who prepared detailed explanations of all the city main attractions with maps and brochures! Communication with Karl and Alexia was very easy before and through all our journey. They were responsive quickly with all the detaild required. The place is great and well equipped with everything someone may need during the stay. Very well located! Few minutes from the public transportation and city centre easily reachable. Karl also offered us to drive us from and to the airport! Exceptional host with an amazing place. Strongly recommended.

The location is amazing ! Close to many museums and the opera house. Close to the tram and subway and restaurants. Karl is a wonderful host , so friendly and kind. Met us at the apartment and then drove us to the airport when we left.

Karl and Alexia absolutely deserve the title of Superhosts!! We so much enjoyed everything about our short but very enriching stay in Vienna, and that’s mostly because of Karl’s perfect “orientation” city tour on the way from the airport to the charming and very convenient apartment on Operngasse 24! The location is great, it’s just a few minutes’ walking distance from Vienna’s top attractions. The apartment is very clean and has all you need for a convenient stay. Karl and Alexia are so caring and attentive, always ready to share information. Besides, it was super-helpful and we so much appreciated that Karl took us back to the airport as our flight was very early in the morning and it would be challenging to find a transfer at 4am. The appartment is located on the first floor facing a busy street with a street light, so if you are sensitive to noise you won't be able to open the windows at night.

Karl is the best host ever. He picked us up at the airport even thought the plane was late. He brought chockolates for us, he had maps of Vienna and he was in conctact via whatsapp everytime we needed him! A fantastic host.
