Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It was located in a wonderful place and the view was also amazing. The owner of the hotel was very kind and helpful and inform us about a lot of programs and restaurants. The breakfeast was also very delicious and unique. The room was very cleaned and friendly.

AustriaFor lunch and dinner you have to go to other hotels or cafes. But the owners are very willing to help book a taxi and a table in the restaurant. If you're with your car, there's no problem.
Very friendly and caring hosts! Great breakfasts! After skiing, you can warm up in the sauna, which adds comfort. Very warm and homely atmosphere. Beautiful panoramic view of the mountains.

Very cosy , very homy , great atmosphere , fantastic breakfast and with the view on Schneeberg. All made with love . 10 min to the nearest ski lifts. There is also a very nice library with hammocks ! We liked it so much that we prolonged our stay :)

HungaryThere was nothing we didn't like, however, in case someone would find it a problem, there is no wifi in the rooms, (there is good signal in the common areas tho), and the ski slopes are about 20mins walking, (there is a free shuttle tho and it's 3mins by car)
The host and his family (it's a family run hotel) were absolutely lovely and accommodating, they helped us with everything we needed. The breakfast is an all you can eat buffet, super tasty, they also offer a large selection of homemade tea mixes and cakes. The room was clean and comfy. We would definitely stay there again.

The place is near center of Semmering - app 20 min by foot. The sauna in hotel was pleasant addition. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Austriabreakfast had healthy options and the eggs and cheese options were great, but was hoping for more fruit options. it was the first few days of reopening however.
beautiful spot, space and energy. kindly upgraded me to a room with an even nicer view. warm hosts and enjoy the attention to detail and creating a style. location lovely for walks etc

HungaryIn the name of “bio”, most things you’d expect from a 4* hotel are not provided. There is no TV in the room, wifi only if it happens to reach from the ground floor, no separate shower gel/shampoo, no kettle and tea/coffee or fridge in the room (resulting in not-so-bio food waste). I also believe soundproofing and 24h reception as well as 24h food service belong to a 4* standard, none of which are available here. It’s just not worth the money. I may not have done my due diligence but if properly categorized (as 2* or 3*) the property would not have shown up in my search (and from what I can see, they also don’t show 4* on their website, only on booking.com).
Semmering is beautiful and the Wagner family is very kind and helpful towards guests. It is a very familiar environment!
