Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Czech RepublicNothing really, out stay was a great experience overall.
The hotel is perfectly located in the middle of Ramsau, just a few steps from the stadium where all the cross-country tracks do start. The hotel offers free parking and upon entering, you are welcomed by more than attentive staff. The breakfast is absolutely fabulous and more than rich. We also dined at the hotel and all the meals were greatly cooked and meticulously designed and prepared. The wellness is great and offers plenty of possibilities to relax.

AustriaLittle bit expensive for our budget but was probably worth it! Bathroom could be modernized? But honestly minor!
The staff were so lovely, which was highly appreciated. We were delayed with our travel arrangements but the staff were so kind and helpful and prepared a beautiful late dinner/cold platter to us which was delivered to our room. The breakfast was amazing with so many options. The view was sensational. Location perfect for our conference in the Events Centre. Slept super well in the comfy beds. Lovely modern room and facilities. Just wish we could have stayed there longer!

HungaryThe pillow and blanket can be more comfortable and the hot tub in wellness was not working. :(
The lady at the reception and the waiters in the restaurant are all very kind. Like others mentioned, the food was just amazing! The best half-board food I’ve ever had in a 4-star hotel! Also the location was super convenient. You can easily reach Rittisberg, Dachstein Glacier and Schladming ski resort, etc. by car or bus.

United Arab EmiratesReally can't complain about anything about the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Absolutely would come back. The hotel is located in a small village. Everything is very organised. You have to be aware which path to walk or sleigh or ski on. In case you need to know, right most is for walking & sleigh rides. We only found out when a nice lady on a horse informed us, she was very kind and even mentioned that there are no signs regarding the path rules. I suppose this is not new information for ski veterans but might be useful for others. Only problem with the area is that since it is a small village, there are not too many places to eat. Some get busy and you might get shouted at that they have no space (one-off incident at the cross-skiing center restaurant). We also found out that most restaurants close on a Wednesday but there are still options. The Spar grocery has a break at 13:00-15:00.
Staff was very friendly and engaging. It is a very European breakfast meaning no pancakes, waffles, etc. The buffet spread was amazing, we were really happy with the selection. Our 2 year old daughter was with us and she had a lot of choices. My husband is very picky with food and eats a lot of healthy protein and he was satisfied. I am the most easy-going eater in our family and I was really happy with everything. I looked forward to it every morning. Besides the usual brekky choices, there was prosecco, great coffee & fresh baked goodies. You will have to do a lot of cutting for your own fresh juice, veggies and fruits but everyone is very respectful and uses the disinfectants provided before handling any food. The Pehab restaurant always had nice dinner menu or dinner buffet that they will inform you about during breakfast in case you want to join or not. The room we stayed in was the new wing and my daughter absolutely loved the lift with the view of the snowy mountains. Room was a decent size and the extra cot was already prepared by the time we went in. Room was very nice and clean. Only problem was that we couldn't work-out the heater and sometimes it got too hot, maybe we were not doing it right though. Location is perfect. You can walk to everything in just a few minutes. Perfect for families, my daughter was too young to join the classes so we rented a sleigh for 7 Euros a day and just went to the back to ride it and play in the snow. Intersport shop is just a meters away, it's the shop where you can rent all the gears. The hotel also has a storage room for all your skiing gear. The Glaciers are about 20 minutes car ride away, you can have an afternoon there to look around or ski. You will have to pay 20 Euro toll but just validate the ticket at the top to have it waived. It's about 36 Euros for the cable car + ice cave + skywalk + skiing up there. Really worth the trip.
