Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

TurkeyPension location not great, there are lots of weird people around especially in the evening. For the room, there are little bugs and a spider. Maybe it's time to spray for insects. Other than that cleaning was good.
I did not bought breakfast. So no comment on this. The price was good compared to the cost. The room was larger than I expected. Helpful and friendly staff.

Overall a good stay. 15 minutes walk from the station. It's a good place to stay if you have any concerts at the Stadthalle, 15 minutes walk from there too.

United KingdomThe only minor negative was there was no soap or soap dispenser in the shower.
A great find. Location was 5-10 mins walk from Westbahnhof so direct access to Hbh and the airport bus. Very easy to get around by tram or U Bahn. The Pension has a large internal courtyard where my room faced so no noise from the street, although it is on a quiet side street anyway. My (single) room was very large and comfortable. The lady at the front desk was extremely friendly. I didn't have breakfast but they do offer it if required.

IndiaVienna is a little warm in summer so a table fan would make things much comfortable. Otherwise no complaints.
Close to the main station, and wonderful location for reaching everything in vienna trams city centre, hop on hop off, airport bus line at westbanhof. Breakfast is basic but cleanliness: room, toilets sheets and towels, decor and comfort is superb. My friends from Austria also loved the room . I highly recommend it to anyone.
