Had a fabulous stay at Pension Katrin. Hosts were super friendly and accommodating. My room was immaculate and cleaned daily. Breakfast was superb, with so much variety is was difficult to choose! Located just a 20 minute easy walk from the centre, I'd definitely stay here again and can't wait to go back. Some beautiful walks nearby too and a Spar just a 5 minute walk away for any forgot essentials. Good pizza restaurant a few minutes walk away.

Location is good, very convenient. Can take bus 5 to city center and bus 25 to Hellbrunn. Sandler the owner is very welcoming, friendly and she showed a very nice walking path to the Holhensalzburg. They have breakfast included and because it’s Easter, to the extend we have easter chocolates and cakes which is lovely. Room and bathroom is very clean.

Rooms are a bit outdated, which can be considered also a local charm :) I just feel it’s a bit overpriced (only my personal opinion). But if you consider a breakfast and a free parking, together it’s a good deal.

Location is great! Close to the old town (by foot) and easy access from a high way (by car). People working there are extremely nice, helpful and everything is super clean! Parking was for free. Perfect for 1 night stay when passing Salzburg!

The Pension was very clean and nice. The owner, Sandra was very informative and helpful with questions I had during my stay. I loved the room, it came with everything needed for a short stay. The breakfast which was included in the stay, was delicious and had a wide selection.

Bathtub shower was difficult getting in and out. A shower stall might have been a better setup for space requirements.

The daily breakfast was very good with fresh bread, meat, cheese, fruits and eggs. The rooms were large with refrigerator and good Wi-Fi access. Also, the separate room with a living room sofa and desk with an attached balcony was a nice touch. Would recommend staying here.

In my opinion there is nothing to improve. The wifi was some times experiencing breaks in service but this is a minor thing in comparison to all the positive points.

Breakfast was excellent. It included very fresh ingredients and a variety of food including homemade desserts. The fruit salad in particular was very fresh and included a multiple number of fruit. Location also was very good as the pension is located in a quiet area, a short walk from the old town. Public transportation is another choice to get into the city centre and the quality of the service was very good. The owner of the pension was very helpful in providing information regarding the various sights. I would definitely choose the same pension if I had another chance to visit the beautiful city of Salzburg.

Such a lovely stay. A family run business with that classic bnb feel. Only a 20 minute walk to the city centre or you can take the bus that’s right down the road. for those extra hot days, it would be nice to have an AC unit in the rooms. Our room was on second floor and could be reached only by stairs. This was not a problem for me and my wife but mentioning it in case someone has a leg injury or disability.

room size perfect for 2 people. Modern and new furniture and room equipment. Unless its raining, the location is really close to old city center, 10 min on foot. Breakfast very nice with adequate choices.

I liked everything about this hotel. Safe and quiet location, good for solo travellers like myself. You can walk to the city centre (15 min), or take a bus (the nearest bus stop is just 2 minutes away from the hotel). It’s nice that breakfast is included.
