I felt very subconscious creaking on the wooden floors. I did not want to disturb other guests. But that is the charm of an old world hotel.

Location is great. good support to commute from the public car parking to the hotel.Though we checked-in late than anticipated, hotel staff ensured that we can check in smoothly. Lake side dining is a plus.

There is small soap in the room, but do not forget to bring shampoo and conditioner for the shower.

It is in the center, when I checked out, I put my staff in lobby. They let me use the toilet, you can always get hot water and make your coffee in the lobby, keep your coffee mug with you. There is a hair dryer. I think everything was perfect, breakfast, balcony view was great..

I am quite tall and I was not able to fit in the bed. The furnitures in the room were too sqeeky!

Not recommended to those who used to have comfortable en-suite bedrooms as shower rooms and toilets are outside and shared with others.

Great Location at the centre of Hallstatt main attractions, staff is nice, breakfast is good, In general the place is quite comfortable with option of back garden facing the lake for breakfast

Totally forgot everyone shares bathrooms here but that’s okay there are a lot and clean.

Mattress was very stiff but still slept fine.

Beautiful lake view, can see the building has been well taken care of, walking distance to everything we wanted to see.

The room was quite tight for 4 of us, but we were there for the night and passing through so it was fine, the bathroom was very tight so was difficult helping my son to shower but would have been fine for adults.

The location and view from the room were great. The staff was nice and the continental breakfast was fine.

It is a very old building and noise travels fast and loud. There was a communal shower outside our door, and the noise made it hard to sleep much past 5am.

Balcony on the water was a nice touch. The B&B is right in the town square, so you are close to everything.

Not the problem of the hotel, but the time I traveled there (February) is not the good season, then there is very few restaurant open. So it is not worth to sleep in Hallstat

Was a bit pricey but it was ok.

Location was perfect. Super accessible and really close to where we wanted to go - the restaurants, the lake, the churches, the funicular, etc. It was right in the heart of the town and it also felt super safe. The room assigned to us was very, very spacious for 3 people, and it came with breakfast. All in all a wonderful experience.

What we did not particularly like was the beds or more precisely the bedframes. They made a lot of noise when someone would lay down, get up or just move on the bed. For us that we had a baby with us it was problematic, since it would wake her up most of the times. I get the vibe of the hotel to be old mode, but it was a little too much on that side. They looked more like they were actually just old and not properly maintained.

The location was excellent, by the lake and in the town square. Everything could be reached by foot. The view of the room was amazing and the breakfast was nice.
