Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesWhat could have been better was taken care of immediately. Staff responded to our request without any delay and problem was solved instantenously. Therefore there is nothing to report here.
The pension is very close to the center, shops and the tourist office. Excellent breakfast was provided in a nearby hotel. This is the only pension that has a hotel quality bedding, good towels and daily cleaning. Staff did everything to take care of little details that needed to be fixed. The room was spacious, with a balcony. Highly recommended.

Czech RepublicUnfortunately breakfasts ARE NOT served at the hotel, you have to go approx. 400m to the another building. This is something we were texted just before the stay. At our time there, there was not much snow, but It would be a bit annoying, if there was a lot of snow, and you had to go there. Also if you have kids, you would then needed to put on clothes twice - overall this was not comfortable. Heating at our room was practically non-existant, again when it would be colder, this would be bad, but worse about this, is that you are not able to dry anything sufficiently. There is a lot of noise from the hall, it was tought to sleep, as walls are thin like a paper. Overall we would not stay again, everything was old and like from another century.
It was in the mountains, which means, that views were amazing. There was a space to park our car. Breakfast were sufficient continental breakfast and we were stuffed, if we wanted to. Staff of the hotel was nice and helpful.

Czech RepublicThere was no staff directly in the penzion, we had to go to hotel Gambswirt anytime we needed a help. Though promoted, the internet connection did not work at all and again we had to go to hotel Gambswirt to get connected (due the need of beeing connected for business, internet connection was one of the conditions why we picked penzion Weber - bad luck).
The room was clean and nice. The breakfasts in hotel Gambswirt were very good. Also a staff in hotel Gambswirt was very nice and helpful.
