My stay in Vienna was too short

This is my go-to place in the Josefstadt (8th district) in central Vienna, in a wonderful neighbourhood close to the centre and many attractions, e.g., the Museumsquartier.

Breakfast was very basic. Could have more variety on the menu. The hairdryer in the bathroom stopped working after a while. But I had mine so I was able to use it.

Friendly and informative staff. Clean rooms. Great location.

Some small windows didn’t have curtains so it was kind of uncomfortable to lay in bed

The decor was a little dated and some bits needed a little tlc. But overall still very nice.

Great little rooms. Bare bones but what do you realistically need in a room other than a comfortable bed, sink and a wardrobe with a toilet just down the corridor. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was also very nice.

When i was looking to book accommodation in Vienna & came across your hotel on Booking.com on Tues Aug 22, the price was supposedly a discount priced at Euro $156. for 2 nights. However, when i tried to book for that price, it doesn't exist & the price kept reverting to Euro 305.00 for 2 nights. I was surprised that the advertised last room left priced of Euro 156.00 was actually Euro 305. I didnt want an apartment but a room as there's only 2 of us & most of the day we're out. Kind of disappointed by the misleading adv...coupled with the Euro high exchange rates gets expensive & i'm a senior on a budget.

Awesome breakfast...location abit of a walk 10-15min to places of interest, not bad though & i enjoy walking. Apt is clean & spacious for two person. More of an efficiency apartment with all the amenities. I especially like that the toilet is separated from the bath. My friend & i enjoyed our two nights stay. Thank you.

I suggest installing air conditioning in the room. The ventilator helps a lot, but when it's 35 degrees outside, it's not enough.

Extremely basic, minimal toiletries (tiniest thumbnail bottle of shampoo), nowhere to get a (soft) drink (e.g. if arriving late), single room next to shared toilet is noisy because of people coming in late or departing in the night and no soundproofing - can hear toilet paper dispenser etc

No radio or TV device in room. Incorrect e-mail received from hotel prior to arrival, that my booking had a shower and no toilet. However, room supplied correctly as according to booking. But I had an awkward experience: My bedpost lamp was flashing/blinking when my arm hit the wall or if I bumped into the bed, which I reported to the receptionist. During day time they held the lamp switched on, and told me nothing was wrong. I had to keep arguing that cables and the mounting of the lamp must be checked - and repeated this at check-out. As incorrectly mounted electric cords/cables are a key cause for starting a fire, I was not comfortable with the demonstrated relaxed attitude to the bedpost lamp.

Good location within walking distance of Parliament and MQ. Do explore the nearby Josefstadt and Neubau districts (map supplied by reception). Recently renovated sanitary installations in my floor, fine very large shower room (two old rooms combined to one). Good cupboard in room, probably "monastery standard". Friendly and customer oriented breakfast hostess providing a fine ambience at good breakfast. Daily Austrian newspaper.

There is only one plug near bed and it was inconvenient to charge two devices at night.

I really enjoyed staying in this hotel due to several reasons. First, it has excellent location, Museum of Nature and Fine arts located in just 5-10 minutes walk. Second, breakfast is good: boiled eggs, tosts, bakery, cereals, fruits, vegetables, jams, cheese, ham, but the most amazing thing is coffee. One of the best i ever tried. Third, the stuff is friendly and attentive, always ready to help you. Fourth, the room is clean, the shower is inside without closed door, but it's not a problem if you're traveling as a couple. Highly recommend!

It was what I expected, good relation price/quality, and the beds were extremely comfy and clean. Breakfast was included in the price and it was surprisingly good and diverse the staff was also nice.

Delicious breakfast and great location, the staff of the hotel prepared an instruction for self check-in at night hours; On my last minute request the hotel team added another guest who I had removed by mistake during the final steps of booking.
