Nice location, very pretty hotel with a balcony in the room overlooking charming gardens

The hotel was only about 15 minutes from the centre of Salzburg and a regular bus service passes by the hotel. The hotel itself is quite small but that is a bonus as the staff go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. They were also very helpful and informative about the local area. The gardens around the hotel are really nice and a number of nicely designed car ports are available if you are travelling by car. The breakfast selection is superb and nicely presented. Overall I enjoyed my short stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it.

The whole experience was most satisfactory the hosts were both charming and most helpful. The booking .com appraisal is accurate right down to bus stop a few meters from the hotel very handy indeed. We would stay there again primarily due to accessibility by bus and the quite and friendly atmosphere. Thumbs up.

The hotel was picture perfect of what you'd expect for classic Austrian Alps architecture! Exceptionally clean, creatively decorated, and exquisite wood interiors. The breakfast buffet and service were First Class!

I think the hotel has been renovated recently and everything is top quality. They have given thought to the comfort of their guests down to the last detail. The hotel is in the centre of the small town but set back from the road and is very quiet. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a cold drink. The parking was excellent as was the breakfast.

Lovely location and easy to catch the bus into Salzburg to save using the car. They really made an effort in this hotel with lots of quirky seasonal decorations, which made it feel homely. The garden also was lovely. Located in a small town but with a few restaurants nearby,we ate at the pizzeria. The room was very comfortable. There was even a little sewing kit to use which was useful as my button fell off. Breakfast a great choice.

Our room (garden room) was spacious and with everything you would expect from a good hotel. The terrace and garden were a lovely treat as we stayed during a heatwave. The staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was absolutely delicious.

Friendly staff, quiet, safe location, plenty of parking, tasty breakfast, 2 big gardens very well maintained. It doesn;t serve dinner, but there are restaurants 10 min walk away from the hotel. The hotel is only 10km (20min) away from central Salzburg by car. The bus station is around the corner. The Eagle's Nest and the Rossfeld Panorama Strasse (Panoramic highway) are only 20 min away by car. The cable car is 5 min drive or 20 min walk away from the hotel. You can hike to the same location (Untersberg) (1300m ascent) from parking situated 5 min drive away - get there early as it gets filled up pretty quickly. You can rent bikes from the hotel and take advantage of the multiple trails that go to the city or neighbouring villages or towns.
