How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Great design and industrial look & feel, attention to details in everything around the hotel (rooms, lobby, dining area). Very cool and friendly staff.

Unfortunately the air con wasn't switched on in the room and it was hot.
The bar area was great. Free pool table. The breakfast was delicious.

Room has a window in an inside patio where it was a lot of noise during night and early on the morning. As A/C was not working on the room I was sleeping with open window and waking up several times during the night because the noise

Bathroom door always got stuck on the carpet and was therefor hard to open. Bathroom is only separated with a glas wall from the bedroom. You have to known the person you travel with very well - otherwise you better use the one in the restaurant on the ground floor. At the end of the bar shift at 1 AM the bar stuff is throwing all the empty bottles into the trash bin outside of the window - this was very loud and happened EVERY night. We told the receptionist the next day and she didn’t even care at all or at least said sorry. Won’t come back to penta again. All in all wasn’t the staff the friendliest.
Nice and modern hotel located in an urban area. Great interior.

Although Im happy with the stay overall, the courtains were kind of dirty in the room we were supposed to stay in initially. We got a free upgrade but the situation was almost the same- the courtains were dirty and there were stains on them.
The room was spacious, quiet and we had a nice view. The breakfast was great. The location is also very good, just a few minute walk to get to the nearest metro station.

Only one guy working in bar who has a black shirt,no(or little hair) hair.
Breakfast was really good. You can find everything during the breakfast. Location is also good. Rooms were clean but they need to put a kettle for coffe or tea. Moreover neither my tv nor my friends' tv were not working. Bar is ok but being asked for money for drinks for rach time was not acceptable, I thought this behaviour was the reflection of a racism which one of the bar staff had inside.

The room was next to the elevator, so you could hear the elevator sed and whenever people arrived on the floor.

We agreed on a late check-out but it wasn't well communicated. Housekeeping went into the room twice and the receptionist called 2 hours before agreed check-out time.
The location is great, the bar was fantastic. Check in staff was very helpful and friendly

Some of the employees were somehow quite rude, but there are good ones aswell for exampel the bar keeper was friendly

Seems like breakfast area lacks space at peak hours, we didn't have problems seating but there people roaming in search of a table

The room was a good size, very clean. The bathroom had a bath which was good. Below there was a bar area with lounging facilities. There is also a pool table where you can relax. I will stay there again.

The room smelled a bit of stale old rugs. Else, everything else was perfect.

Pillows were little too soft, but we got some extra and it was OK. I would say, that it is time to upgrade TV system, so that internet or direct Netflix is available. Otherwise all good.
Very recommendable hotel. Location is good enough for walk or short train trip to center. Staff was very helpful in all respects. Breakfast was good enough to fill you up for the day's activities. Room was specious and comfortable. Vey much like, that you can open the window and let some fresh air in.
