    Nothing

The main thing that makes this hotel work is that its family run, herman and his wife and children were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely return.

It was fairly expensive for B&B.

A great hotel away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to pop into town and the main lifts.

This hotel is pure perfection. Traditional features combined with modern touches and every design and customer detail has been thought of. Rooms are beautifully decorated with care. I came with my elderly mum who loved it too - we had a large balcony with lovely views of the mountains. The bathroom is beautiful and so are the rooms. The hotel is really quiet yet a few steps from the high street. There is also a lovely garden you can visit anytime. Lovely family, who own the hotel, look after it with love and care and so the customer service is superb. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway in Mayrhofen then this is it, we couldn’t have chosen a better place to relax.

There is nothing that would put me off from going to this hotel again. There are a couple of minor improvements that could be made. My husband and I booked a Comfort level room which is one up from the standard and were disappointed to find it had two single beds pushed together. I was expecting them to at least zip the two single mattress together and provide a double duvet. The single duvets kept slipping off which was annoying. The hotel also lacks a dedicated bar area to relax in - there was nowhere to sit and play games. On the up side the owners did tell me that they plan to add a bar later in 2023.

The location was good - what made it was the bus stop right outside the hotel which we always got a seat on. The boot room was just inside the hotel so it was only five paces to carry your skis to the bus.

Loved this hotel!!! The room was lovely…very large with plenty of storage and spotlessly clean. Despite arriving very early we were able to check in to our room. the hotel is in a lovely quiet location but only a very short easy stroll to shops and facilities. Ski bus stops directly outside and runs regularly and the boot/ski room being on the ground floor rather than in the basement as most are was a great bonus for those very tired legs at the end of a days skiing. Staff were all fabulous, very friendly, helpful and hard working and all made you feel like part of their family. The waitresses in particular made our stay particularly enjoyable. This hotel has a very homely atmosphere but with all the facilities you might associate with a much larger hotel. Unfortunately we didn’t get to sample the A La Carte restaurant but it looked wonderful and was very popular and we enjoyed a few evenings sitting at the cosy bar and watching the food being prepared in the open kitchen. Thank you to the Pramstraller family and all their wonderful staff for making our stay so special and we hope to return again soon.

The pillows are too big and not very comfortable.

I recently stayed at the Pramstraller Hotel in a beautiful ski resort and had a truly wonderful experience. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean, with all the amenities one could need for a relaxing stay. The restaurant at the hotel was also top-notch, with a wide variety of delicious dishes to choose from. The breakfast buffet was especially impressive, with plenty of options to suit all tastes and dietary requirements. Overall, I would highly recommend the Pramstraller Hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and convenient place to stay in a ski resort. The staff, amenities, and location are all excellent, and I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Great hotel. Owners are very friendly and jovial. Staff were all friendly. Very clean. Food excellent, although it would have been nice to see more salad variation, but this is being a little picky. We borrowed eBikes from the hotel which were excellent and FOC ! Great quiet location just far enough from the centre but an easy short walk away.

Could have been a little faster with the service. Obviously 5 courses is a lot but occasionally we were waiting for 2 hours to complete dinner.

Great food, plenty of food. Brilliant waitress and the service was very friendly.

The hotel was fantastic, staff were so friendly and accommodating. Both breakfast and dinner everyday were really good. The location was perfect with a ski bus right outside. The spa was good for after the slopes. The rooms were lovely with massive balcony looking onto mountains

Unwelcoming service attitude and emphasis on cost saving
    • Leisure trip
    • Family with young children
    • Superior Family Room
    • Stayed 6 nights

Pre-Arrival Pricing Surprise: An unexpected 200 EU price increase shortly before arrival, over minor details such as a 2 year age discrepancy with kids, when no such policy was published on Booking, set a very unwelcoming tone. It felt like they were looking for us to cancel the reservation. Service Attitude: The hotel staff often seemed indifferent to guest needs, and impatient, making even simple requests feel like burdens. This apparent reluctance to serve detracts from the hospitality experience, leaving a negative impression. Location and Accessibility: The hotel is distant (600m) from the town center and the shuttle service stops at 5:15 PM, making exploration and access to local amenities challenging without substantial planning or reliance on taxis after 5:15 PM. Limited Coffee Service: The absence of readily available coffee outside of breakfast hours, without in-room makers or lobby facilities, was a significant inconvenience, especially for those desiring a warm cup of coffee at different times. I.e. they want you to deink your coffee, where they say and when they say. Spa - Jacuzzi Access: Access to the jacuzzi, requiring a special coin for limited use, felt unnecessarily restrictive and detracted from the amenities' enjoyment. Heating System: The heating system in the rooms is automatically turned off after a certain period, necessitating repeated requests from the staff to turn it back on. This is particularly inconvenient for guests returning from a day of skiing, looking forward to a warm room. Apartment Complex Feel: The lack of proactive staff engagement and necessity to request basic amenities lent the experience a self-service model vibe, detracting from the expected full-service hospitality. Cost-saving Measures: The hotel's emphasis on economizing, from rationed heating to recycling breakfast bread, suggested a prioritization of cost-saving over quality guest service, negatively affecting the overall experience.

Aesthetic and Ambiance: Hotel Pramstraller's design and decor are warm and inviting, perfectly capturing Austrian hospitality. The blend of traditional and modern elements creates a cozy environment, making guests feel instantly at home. Comfortable Accommodations: The rooms at Hotel Pramstraller merge contemporary comfort with traditional Austrian elegance. Attention to detail in furnishings and cleanliness ensures a restful and enjoyable stay. Exceptional Breakfast: The breakfast buffet stands out, offering a wide variety of delicious, high-quality options catering to all dietary needs, reflecting the hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction. Shuttle: the shuttle bus station is right at the hotel front which is very convenient. Nice spa facility: offering various dry and wet sauna rooms and showers Cleaning ladies are very nice and pleasant
