The location is very poor; it's up on a hill in the middle of a forest, so it takes half an hour to get to the city center, although it does offer good city views from the balcony. The pillow is uncomfortable, and the room could be cleaner.

The hotel is comfortable, and quite peaceful; the staff is very friendly and helpful, and breakfast is included and very good.

Well, it wasn't a case of what we did not like but we suspected the sat navigation had gone wrong with the location up a narrow lane through the trees. But it was right after all. The staff were courteous but did not go out of their way other than what was in the job description.

The room was clean and comfortable but there were no refreshments such as water or brewing up materials. However, our stay was pleasant with a good breakfast included.

The only bad thing was the terrible smell from the kitchen till 21:00 when the restaurant is closing. We absolutely do not understand why the kitchen doesn't have exhaust up to the roof

We stayed only one night but we have appreciated the quality og the restaurant of the hotel, that is placed in a wonderful place, on the hill above the city center of Klagenfurt. The room was comfortable, the place very quiet.

Very friendly staff. Super location - up a little hill, in the woods. Great atmosphere. Good food. Quiet and cozy place. Both the food and accommodation are reasonably priced. Close to the surrounding points of interest around Klagenfurt. Only a 10 min. drive away from the Wörthersee. Altogether a lovely place to stay.

Quite complicated enter to the hotel, we were lucky to have a 2 rooms, because one of the key for enter the hotel was not working. By the phone with an owner we solve the problem, so we were satisfied.

Amazing place of stay. Beautiful view for the whole city. Very good beeds, good shower, hairdryer and wifi. Booking made mistake to reserve for us a breakfest, but was no problem to organize it directly with a stuff of the hotel. We were able to stay in hotel even there was a day of without service (Ruhetag). Free parking at a hotel site.

The rooms are above a restaurant and the whole room smelled after food and cooking oil. It was disgousting! The room was also moisty and cold not pre heated however its cold outside.

1. The no-entry sign in front of the parking area should be supplemented with a sign to allow hotel guests to park there 2. The numeric lock on the main door of the building is a bit tricky/fiddly to operate, and took us a while to figure out based on the instructions provided. Fortunately, the manager came to our aid eventually to demonstrate how to get in. 3. We were unable to check in online because the links to the check-in website were removed from the host's message by booking.com. As a result, it took us a while to fill out the paper forms in the morning of our departure. 4. It would be nice to have a small fridge in each room: at least a small hotel-fridge suitable for drinks. 5. This property is accessible by a winding road through a wooded area (a small forest) that is rather dark at night. I would not recommend walking to this property after dark. 6. The common areas feel a little run-down and a bit like a haunted, abandoned mansion but, maybe, some people find it charming or interesting, not sure... Most of the photos shows the restaurant areas that look a lot better. The rooms were clean and tidy though. 7. Our WiFi connection got terminated several times during our stay, forcing us to reconnect each time on the hotel's web page. Too cumbersome.

Located in a quiet, green area that makes you feel you are in a forest with plenty of fresh air. We stayed in two rooms and both were clean and tidy with TV and free WiFi and a piece of chocolate on each pillow, as a welcome gesture.

I booked the room and I've sent some requests and email to hotel but I got no answer. I called the hotel to ask why they didn't answer my emails. The chief easily answered that he is not assistant to answer the emails!!!! I was really shocked when I heard the answer. In the check in I've got a small and with not nice view (although I booked before months and emphasized in my request that I need the city view) but when I nagged about I got a room with balcony that was a little better than first one. All together I can say nice location (surrounding) and friendly check in.

They made just for us breakfast at 4 am on Sunday before IRONMAN race I was participating in. We did not ask, they simply proposed it, that was sometging extra. And the views of Klagenfurt from our room or from the terasse, where we ate delicious food prepared by talented chef, are beautiful.
