The rooms do not have the standard of a 4* hotel, without sound insulation from the corridor, it is rather a better guesthouse. The staff was very inexperienced, it looked like the owner was on vacation and left the hotel to part-timers. A dog ran freely between the guests and the restaurant. In the end, they charged us for the stay a second time, I'm waiting for a refund.

I positively rate the location of the hotel, breakfast and dinner in the restaurant.

We were very disappointed in the quality of the bed mattress. For a recently renovated room the mattresses appeared to be of a very low standard. Too soft, not good for the back of a pension bicycle rider. Overnight, undercover storage for bicycles was available. The restaurant quality was excellent but the menu selection seemed very limited on our stay. Breakfast was lovely on the terrace overlooking the Danube, however the cost was quite expensive compared to other accommodation in the area.

The location is spectacular resting on the Danube.

DINNER OPTIONS- are very limited, certain nights have no or restricted dining options and the evenings when the restaurant was announced to be opened the last order you had to place until 18.30. We were counting on a drive-free dinner evening at the hotel, when we could have enjoyed some of the great wines of the region, but had to either drive somewhere else or have dinner rather early. HOUSEKEEPING- although the housekeeping did a great job when it came to cleaning, they have cleaned the room despite a "do not disturb" sign on the door. Not dog-friendly. We announced to bring a dog, but eventually hadn't and I was eventually glad, because other than your room, the dog is not allowed anywhere inside the hotel (garden with the lake, terrace, etc.)

LOCATION- The Hotel is located at a wonderful viewpoint within easy reach of the region's main sights. Nice and quiet. FACILITIES- the hotel has a tranquillant garden with a bio-lake. The terrace where the restaurant is located has a chilled atmosphere with overlooking the river. STAFF- the lady of the house greeted and checked us in very smoothly and took great care of us during breakfast. AMENITIES- parking was free of charge. BREAKFAST- excellent and high quality products, great selection of food. We loved the bio juices!

Nothing to do in the area, too far to drive for an evening drink, so closing the hotel bar and restaurant at 20:00 is a bit harsh, but that may be due to the off-season attitude of the Austrian Holiday businesses.

Small well kept family run hotel on the river, with all the perks one needs. We took the hotel's bikes for an evening ride along the Danube, and had the best view for breakfast.

Breakfast 22€/person. Shower does not drain. No bathrobe in room to the hotel pond. Old mirror with gray spots on it. All noices were heard from other rooms (extension hotel house near the main hotel building). Receptionist did not speak english.
