Location location location! Right near the Fort and funicular, the main square, water wheel and glockenspiel. The Main Street restaurants are a 5 minute stroll in the beautiful old town. Kitchen has ample appliances and the washer and dryer are simple to use. The bed comfy and the whole apartment is toasty warm and very quiet. Great pub a couple of doors up and another behind towards the funicular (after entering this restaurant/pub, buy a drink etc and head upstairs and enjoy the most magnificent view over town). Great value for money in an amazing and beautiful city. Do book the Sound of Music Tour - it’s great!

Strategic location, walking distance to Getreidegasse, Mozartplatz, Dom Quartier, Mirabell Garden, Hohensalzburg Fortress, etc. We didn't have to take any public transport during our 2 days here. This place is also lovely & amazing! Very well recommended 👍

Only negative thing I may say is if one is use to air conditioning, it may be difficult in the hot summer time. Although you’re able to keep windows open throughout the evening.

This apartment was fantastic. It was comfortable, clean, in a quiet area, and close to all the major sites. The kitchen and laundry facilities were wonderful. The host, Michael, made accessing the apartment very easy. He was quick to answering emails and provided great information.

Would have loved to have had a small microwave or toaster oven. Walk from garage was about 10 minute pleasant walk but not great in the rain pulling heavy luggage. Park at a closer, more pricy garage!

Location was excellent! It was awesome being able to cook breakfast each morning before we took off exploring.

It’s really a small thing, but the wifi didn’t reach the bedroom very well.

The location is fantastic, with a view of the cathedral and the fortress out of each side. The apartment was very warm and the bed especially comfortable.

Difficult to cook with only 2 hot plates. A microwave would be useful. A little difficult to locate. Taxi driver was a bit confused but we worked it out.

Wonderful, cosy studio which is much bigger than expected. Bed is so comfortable. Shower is good. Location superb.

The location and apartments were fantastic... very easy check-in instructions were sent in advance with good communication from the hosts Michael and Gabi. Lots of nice small touches in the apartment ..even a Sound of Music DVD :) we will definitely book again the next time we visit Salzburg.

Can't reach location after 11am with own car. Must carry luggage on cobbled streets with a bit of a slope.

Good location for concerts. Quiet and confortable. Apt. on ground level, no stairs here.

The bathroom is a little on the smaller side, but still very functional for one person or a couple.

I really loved the location of this place and the design of the space inside. The room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen was perfect for what I needed and was well supplied. Facecloths were even provided with the towels and that was a delightful surprise! These are usually not provided in European hotels.

Fair bit of noise outside some of the early mornings, like the bin men at 5:15 with a specially squeaky little bin lorry.

The apartment we got on the ground floor is excellent. It was easily accessible and spacious. It has a nice little kitchen. We appreciated the option of washing our cloths. The self check in was smooth, unlike in other places.
